Colin Castleton to the Lakers; Other UDFA Signings
Jett and Kobe aren't the only former Wolverines heading to NBA camps. Colin Castleton, who transferred to Florida after two seasons at Michigan, signed with the LA Lakers as an undrafted free agent. Good guy, always liked him, wish he had stayed, hope he sticks with the Lakers.
Other notable names who weren't drafted but signed UDFA contracts are Gonzaga's Drew Timme to the Bucks, Detroit's Antoine Davis to the Trail Blazers and MSU's Joey Hauser to the Jazz.
You'll find a mostly complete list of UDFA signings HERE.

Gas station milkshakes for the win! And God bless them for giving out the larger circumference straws too.
I always liked Drew Timme. He looks like the most try-hardiest of try-hards you would find at your local park basketball court. Looking like he just got done filming for Napolean Dynamite 2 as Uncle Nico, star of his high school basketball team back in the 80s.
Who has the better NBA career......Castleton or Hunter Dickinson?
Considering hunner will never play in the nba, Castleton.
Castleton of course. Hunter most likely won't sniff the NBA for any appreciable playing time.
Looks like Bryce West has committed to OSU. Bummer.
Ohio State fans celebrating hard for a Cleveland Glendville kid commiting to them over Michigan tells me enough about how the rivalry is going.
Curious that there’s nothing yet on 11 Warriors. Would have thought it would be an immediate post.
Great point! GO BLUE!
If we win this year Imma opening up torch and pitch fork warehouse smack dab in the middle of Columbus 😂
AS could go either way it sounds like, regardless the staff and cough (director of recruiting) are doing their best to keep these relationships. Reminding the high schoolers that OSU DB's had 0 picks in 2022, and that we have put more credible players in the draft is one thing.
The bigger/long play is scooping these Ohio kids in late 23 early 24 as they transfer due to their head coach and dc being let go.

GB silent commit?

BG? Batlin Gair?
Seriously though I just looked through the entire list of prospects on 24/7 for 2024 and there isn't a prospect with the initials BG. Who is BG?
"BG" stands for "Big Guy".
Not sure if it The Big Guy or just A Big Guy. Either way, it's just a Guy. Until he becomes A Dude of course.
We're recruiting Joe Biden?
come on, man
It has been 12 hours and this has not been reported anywhere that I've seen.
Howser is a former Top 50 recruit that was in college for 5 years and izzo still couldn't get him drafted.
Rumor has it he's nearly got the Spartan nut shot down...a little time with Green this off season, and he'll be sucker punchin' teammates and kickin' balls with the best of 'em...he too then can be "the glue" for his team.
I liked to watch Timme, even though I am an SMC Gaels guy (they are the home squad). Not sure his skills translate well to the NBA. But if the Bucks want to push tempo maybe he settles in as a guy who can get hot and give you 15 off the bench.
Beilein was so underrated, that is all…
Pistons sign a guy from Princeton who was pretty dam good in the tournament and pretty sure he was IVY league player of the year. His name is Tosan Evbuomwan. 6 foot 8 forward who Princeton ran their offense through he was a point forward. Younger then most of the other UDFAs. 22 plus years old. One guy signed was 26.7 years old and most seem to be 24 years old.
