Not completely dismantling Sparty is perhaps the reason Michigan finds itself behind Clemson. That and the entire SE bias thing.

of road games won against quality competition (none) or even played (just two). Iowa and OSU will fix that. So onward. Just win baby.
November 1st, 2016 at 7:12 PM ^
Louisville is basically out of the CFP picture and plays 4 no-name games to finish the season. Lamar is going to be totally off the radar unless he starts scoring 8-10 TDs per game
November 1st, 2016 at 7:18 PM ^
Unless Lamar Jackson gets shutdown and Louisville drops a game because of it a la Fournette/LSU last year.
No matter how you slice it... 2522 passings yards, 996 rushing yards and 38 TDs in 8 games is just downright nasty.
November 1st, 2016 at 8:59 PM ^
but it's going to be hard for him to keep the spotlight over these next few weeks. It's become boring nationally to talk about Lamar Jackson scoring a ton of TDs against no one. He's going to be out of the national spotlight. As a playoff contender, Jabrill has at least 3 big chances to make Heisman plays in the spotlight: Iowa in primetime, OSU & a theoreticaly B1G title game

In our favor: We don't have any crappy wins over weak teams. We have dominated weak teams.

Guess the Committee missed that game against NC State, which was absolutely pathetic. And the Wolfpack's kicker missed a 33 yard FG as time expired, or Clemson would have went down.
They are not a Top 4 team...
November 1st, 2016 at 7:26 PM ^
and they almost lost to Troy. They beat FSU in a comeback. FSU lost to North Carolina. They are this year's MSU.
November 1st, 2016 at 7:27 PM ^
#2 has to play #3 anyway. Does it really make a difference if you are ranked 2 or 3?
November 1st, 2016 at 7:36 PM ^
Holy shit, can we chill out on the DISRESPEKT? It literally makes no difference whether you're 2 or 3. None. Except for the color uniform you wear.

it doesn't matter. There is zero chance if we win out that we'd be number 4. Zero.
So even if we drop after a so-so performance before OSU, winning out, which will include wins at OSU and in the title game against another top 10 team, will absolutely put us in the top 3, probably number 2, but doesn't matter at that point. There is no need to worry about anything but a loss.

Means you miss Alabama in the first round. Okay by me. Only impacts what color jersey you wear.
Washington got screwed though. Can't believe the Committee will allow an Ala-A&M rematch over Alabama-Washington
November 1st, 2016 at 8:45 PM ^
if Washington wins the PAC12. Way too early to get worried about that rematch.

A&M at #4???
They got smoked by Alabama.
November 1st, 2016 at 8:58 PM ^
They should be #5 but doesn't matter since UW controls own destiny.
November 1st, 2016 at 10:19 PM ^
They're 5th. If the top 4 teams win out is the committee going to move Washington into the top 4?
November 1st, 2016 at 11:28 PM ^
If Washington wins out including a win in the PAC12 title game, they will absolutely, 100% move into the top 4. The committee bumped OSU past idle Baylor and TCU two years ago after winning the big10 title game and they'll do the same for Washington. There is no rule that a team can't drop unless they lose.
