As long as you post redundant threads, give all sorts of opinions on shit I don't care about and get offended unnecessarily then we're good.
If you start giving me actual news and keeping your opinions out of it? Well then you can fuck right off, Toby.

Figured this was the move once Riley landed there.

And here I thought he was going to go to Wisconsin.
Of course not. This seemed like the only option. Obvious, inevitable, etc.

Once the Harbaugh chronicle concludes, I may prepare a graphical comparison with the Caleb Williams transfer saga. I suspect I might find interesting parallels the relative timelines, peaks, valleys, twists, and turns.

Seemed like the Wisconsin flirtation was just to make it seem less obvious he's just following Lincoln to LA

In order to maximize NIL offers you need to have another bidder.

Wisconsin fans were really thinking he was going...and bringing 5* talent with him.
They were sure that they were a QB away from winning the conference and playoff success.

Graham Mertz thought that too

But Charlie Batch gets to keep all that money, so.....

Good. USC is most likely going to become good again and I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the playoffs next year. Glad he didn't go to Wisconsin because we do NOT need that right now. The only thing is that USC could have an easy schedule next year and go undefeated. Alabama will still be at the top, Georgia will be at the top, and lets be real, OSU is going to be at the top. The past few years it seems like there's 3 clearcut teams to be in the playoffs and the last one could be about 5 different teams that all have reasonable arguments. I'm really hoping we expand the playoffs

Maybe not as soon as next year. The PAC-12 needs to get better at the footballs and USC needs to dominate to be ranked in the top 4. Until that happens, a one-loss PAC-12 team is still going to the Rose Bowl. I don't see USC going undefeated next year.

They have a super weak schedule next week. If they can beat Utah on the road, and Notre Dame at home, they can go undefeated.

USC must have went $1.5 million, to outbid EMU.

Well one long drawn out annoying college football story is finally put to rest. Hopefully tomorrow at 2pm the other is.

I honestly thought it was already official until I started hearing all the Wisconsin talk.
February 1st, 2022 at 1:36 PM ^
And just like that, USC will be in the playoffs... At least we beat them to the party.
February 1st, 2022 at 1:57 PM ^
Huh, I'm shocked a QB didn't want to go to Wisconsin to hand the ball off and throw the ball to FBs and TEs. Hey, must be the money.

I can't imagine why it's allowable for a star quarterback to transfer immediately to the school his coach just jumped to.

Oklahoma QB following his coach?! I’m shocked.
