Bulletin Board: Maryland RB talks trash about Michigan D

Submitted by Communist Football on October 6th, 2018 at 11:22 AM

Maryland RB Ty Johnson thinks "there's a lot of things we can scheme up against [Michigan's] defense...there's going to be a lot of big runs":

“There’s a lot of things we can scheme up against their defense," he said. "Personally, I think it’s going to be a great game. There’s going to be a lot of big runs. Obviously there’s going to be setbacks and everything -- we’re not going to run past them every single time -- but with what we’ve got going on I think it’ll be a great game. We’re definitely going to move the ball down the field.”

a big run is possible, all it takes is a breakdown or a well designed play... Maryland seems like they have a couple of guys that could do that...

Break week bravdo...nothing to see here...

They  will run the ball maybe 50-60 times ;)

Chances are 2 or 3 of them are 20+.

Just remember to always stretch the ball out to get that extra 1/2 yard; k, thx, buh-bye.

Is this what qualifies as trash talking - "I think we'll be successful in this game I'm trying to win"?

It's a guy talking about how positive he is about his team.  Nothing more than that.

No bulletin board stuff to see here...moving along.

Perhaps a picture of say Braylon and Marcus sharing a coffee and objectively discussing how much Michigan and Harbaugh suck would qualify. /s

I like to think it’s just confidence. Ty is from my home town, Cumberland, MD, and represents the area well. He played at Fort Hill High School, which is in MD lowest division, 1A. Not many kids make it D1 from the Cumberland area. Fort Hill did win the 1A MD State Championship 2013-2016 and lost last year in the Final to Dunbar, a Baltimore school that essentially recruits. FH currently has a kicker that will be D1, Danny King. Won the Hall of Fame kicking contest as a junior and kicked a 54 yarder in the rain last night.
