Brady Hoke's Spring Tour
Don't believe this has been posted yet, but just like our current coach, our former coach has also been popping up all over the country this spring. Hoke spent two days watching practice at Oregon this week, after spending a couple days each at Tennessee and TCU.

But if there's anything Brady Hoke knows, it's a well-executed practice.
I know a few people close to the program, and they still rave about Hoke's practices. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff they saw.
In what way? Any stories you can share?
Hoke had the whole team flying around the field. Literally levitating above the turf.
Any real stories about practice from your inside sources?
...did say you wouldn't believe them...
Then why couldn't we win any GD games?!
"Wellll.........."
Particularly since everybody did such a nice job all the time.
They just didn't execute. The coaches have to coach better
Sounds like an upworthy headline.
No thanks.
He also knows how to execute QBs
what you did there. . . .
"Good Pad Level"
With physicalness
had a great week of practice.
But seriously, Brady will get a shot in the MWC or MAC fairly soon as a HC. I just don't see a Power 5 making the move to hire him any time soon.
Reports had him as a possible candidate for Oregon St. I'm sure he will get some looks, the guy can recruit very well and seems to be well respected among his peers.
Highly unlikely that BH will get a Power 5 HC job, maybe AC. RichRod had a proven winning track record at WVU, is considered an innovator, and despite his lack of success here, he was able to get teh Arizona job. BH does not have that winning Power 5 track record.
Arizona is a good spot for Rich Rod they gave him the autonomy he lacked here.
I see no reason why Brady can't land a job at a lower tier school in a major conference. Colorado, Iowa State, North Carolina, Syracuse or a Virginia. They aren't really football power houses.
Is he doing a TV gig this fall? Think he could do well at that if he doesn't want to coach anymore.
Brady Hoke becoming a TV analyst would be the equivalent of T-Pain giving voice lessons. Absolute trainwreck.
Considering T-Pain actually has a good voice
I was just about to say something about how that jab at T-Pain is completely unwarranted. The man has an incredible voice. He was one of the opening acts for a concert I went to, and he sang one song a cappella, and everyone was just absolutely stunned and not expecting how great he is at singing. His use of autotune is clearly just an artistic preference, rather than an attempt to cover up any musical shortcomings.
Lou Holtz is on TV.
isth a penith.
+1 informative (but could use more slobber)
Eh, I feel like he'd be fairly funny, he has a wry sense of humor. Definitely could use some vocal coaching though.
Seriously, I think Brady has a chance to be good on TV. It's impossible to glean anything from his press conferences as coach at UM b/c,
A) Some coaches think there is a clear advantage to obfuscation and being tight-lipped to the press (think Belicheck).
B) 98% of Brady's press conferences here occurred while he was under Dave Brandon, who may very well have instructed him to conduct press conferences in that un-forthcoming manner.
I'd like to see him give it a shot at TV (maybe BTN?).
I heard they were bringing the Muppets back, but no word yet on whether they're doing a live action Flintstones. I'll keep you posted.
Just sayin'...
Ya ba da ba dooo!
I think he could do "welllllll" at TV, too...
the cultural signifiers you've got. Anyone else?
his tour would also include a couple of trips to the salad bar or a couple of meetings with Matt Foley for some inspiration.
You're a dick.
true. a boner, actually...
Apparently you never saw the pics of Brady at Brian Mone's house during a recruiting visit. The man likes to eat. Nothting wrong with that.
I really liked him as a person and his love for the University, wish it would have worked out. Glad Jim is here, Brady seems to have handled everything very professionally.
