BBQ at the Big House visitors
It's never too early to get excited about a big group of recruiting visitors. Michigan has a pretty good list of expected visitors for next weekend's BBQ at the Big House, including some 5-stars/borderline 5-stars for the 2019 class.

Some people think that McGrone and Rumler will be committing at the BBQ.
We're still a week away. They might visit. I can only put together what I know.
Crouch might stay at running back. I don't know. He's a very good player and could play either side. I just think sometimes those bigger guys (he's 6'2", 224 lbs.) outgrow the position. We saw it with Dylan Moses in the 2017 class. He was the next Leonard Fournette at one time...
Najee Harris was a similar size, and Fournette is bigger. Moses decided to play OLB and Harris decided to play running back even though they were listed as the same size. So, I don't see why he couldn't be a running back.
I didn't say that he couldn't/can't/won't be.
Well, you may be happy to know that Logan Brown is now scheduled to visit for the BBQ. Like I said, it was too early to worry.
fwiw gave Mags the click.... the ads on the right merge with the content in the middle though. Maybe it doesn't play nice with chrome or something.
Hmmm... I use Chrome almost exclusively, and I've never had an issue with the sidebar ads encroaching on the content.
There's not a great way to do it without taking a bunch of extra time, but you can click on the 2017 Season Countdown tag on each entry to see the whole list of posts.
You never know how things will shake out with OL, but he doesn't have the ideal body type for OT. Short legs, a little top-heavy, only listed at 6'4", etc. I think he'll end up at guard.
Ekiyor is attending the BQ this weekend but according to Wiltfong he will be in Alabama. Huh!.
The BBQ is next weekend.
For the big man camp a few weeks ago they had it catered from Siris a newish restaurant/cigar bar on North Main. The pulled pork was decent , BBQ chicken kind of ordinary, corn muffins were a little too sweet and the baked beans were aromatic going thru my GI tract. They had big bowls of tossed salad that most skipped -- no slaw or mac and cheese. I think the athletic staffers can do better. Red Rock from Ypsi, Satchels for the local joint, Boogie Woogie BBQ from Zukey lake might satiate the recruits and families better.
in Milford is pretty awesome, for those close enough to give it a try.
I believe you mean Smokestreet in Milford, it's very good. I went to Smokehouse 52 in Chelsea last weekend, and my girlfriend got their brisket mac and cheese; it was probably the best mac and cheese I've ever had. We were both in pain from eating so much.
I see more than one NC coming to AA. If we get Daniels you can bank on it. All the pieces will fall into place as I see most of those guys on the 2019 class committing to Michigan. Our defenses are going to be unreal for as long as D.B. and Mattison stay. Like I said above we need to secure the instate studs, but man if this list doesn't get you confident and excited for Michigan football future I don't know what else to tell you. Also feel 2018 class will have several future all-americans and all big ten players signing with the Michigan Wolverines on NSD. The two main reasons you should believe this is Harbaugh knows what he is doing and I know what I am talking about. LOL.
LOL. Thanks.
I clicked on everything on your site, make up clicks.
Good work.
Fuck a posbang...today's all about the CLICKBANG!!!

Great info, Magnus. I will continue clicking every hour on the hour to thwart the grievous copy & paste attack.
Thanks for the info.
I think tomorrow we need a daily click total for TTB to know that good triumphed over evil. It would be great to see if the clicks went up a significant amount (or %).
I can guarantee that overall visitors will bump up today, because everyone who visits my site regularly will still visit, and there will be some new traffic from here. So it will be a net gain. It's just a matter of how much.
Magnus, while repearedly clicking to "Touch the Banner" (NTTAWWT), I noticed that none of the listed attendees is from New Jersey.
Is this a down year for New Jersey football seniors, has Rutgers actually "fenced the garden," or are they just staying home next weekend, instead of attending the BBQ, now that the beaches are back open again? I've also noticed that most of Michigan's targets from NJ have committed elsewhere. OFFER BOARD LINK
The top player at Paramus Catholic HS appears to be a transfer from recently closed DePaul Catholic HS (alma mater of Kareem Walker and Michael Dwumfour), Shelton Applewhite, Jr., a 6-4, 200-pound QB. LINK
Yeah, I don't know of any NJ prospects who are planning to attend. I don't know that it's a down year in NJ, but we're not the front-runners for some of those guys like we used to be. Chris Partridge was a great recruiter, but the longer he's at Michigan, the less of a connection he's going to have to NJ in some ways.
It's not Rutgers who's fencing the garden - it's other teams who are coming in to pluck guys. Penn State nabbed Dorian Hardy, Notre Dame looks like the front-runner for Shayne Simon, etc. A couple NJ guys are committed to Vanderbilt, even. Michigan still has shots with guys like Simon, Tyler Friday, and Jahan Dotson.
Also, the top guy at Paramus Catholic is 2018 DE Dorian Hardy.
Probably a damn illegal Bolivian immigrant. Build the damn firewall.
My theory is that it's an account that Magnus created 2 1/2 months ago when he spun up this brilliant plan to drum up extra sympathy clicks to his site. Today was the day to spring that plan into action. :)
Love the site, Magnus. It's in my regular rotation.
what is his status these days?
Nothing new on Friday, really. He's pretty quiet.
it feel like everyone now recognizes that our coach has things on track where we want and he needs them to be in order to grow the program to its historical best status that we all enviriosioned when we learned he would be coming back?
I just have this good feeling about the way things are going and knowing what good hands the school is in at most if not all levels, but especially at Schembechler Hall.
I mean I know it's only year three and for the past two he's had to rock the college football boat in order to change perspective on getting this program to premiere progress. Now, it just seems he's building on on all the school's wonderful assets and reputation, along with his own, in driving the bus where we want it to go. In any case, while you'd like to beat our your rival on every recruit you compete for, it just seems recruiting is systematically better than ever.
In any case, I have fewer concerns about it than I've had for years. Others probably feel differently and I have to admit I haven't been keeping track as closely as I normally do. It just seems things are progressing on an upward trend based on our coach, his charisma and methodology of business practices.
I don't say wow to myself much but after watching this McGrone kid, I actually did. Holy cow. He's good....very good.
I just hope that Finebaum isn't right that it will snow in Ann Arbor next weekend.
