I'm finding myself getting very indifferent to our basketball program, and I hate this feeling. The Ellerbe/Amaker era all over again.

At least I'm still enjoying the afterglow of the Michigan Football National Championship and have a fully-engaged Lions team to keep me happily distracted.  Michigan Hockey and the Red Wings both have enough talent to keep my interest too.  But this basketball season...ugh.

In so many ways, we screwed up not offering Brian Dutcher the job after JB left for an ill-fated Cavs gig after 2019.

Life goes on, and Warde's successor after 2024-25 will get the FAU coach Dusty May from FAU or someone else.

Bring back Jim Hackett please!

Illini were continually backing down the UM defenders and getting easy points in the paint.  Among other things, that suggests UM is poorly conditioned.  Maybe that is one reason for Sanderson's frustration with the culture under Juwan.

Michigan has one player who can dribble through traffic. Period. Only one.

And yet every player is determined to pass up open jumpers and drive to the rim for a turnover or swat. So painful to watch.

I was shocked when Khayat leapt high into the air for a loose ball. Wow, we're able to do that? And that it stood out as a game highlight is pathetic. It illustrated just how unathletic our team is (beyond Dug and sometimes Tarris).
