When Bullock couldn't come up with that pop foul on the last at-bat, I got a tad bit nervous. They had the outfielders playing way too far back. I get the no doubles defense, but you'd end up letting a lazy pop fly fall in and score a run. Overmanaging has been rampant in baseball for some time now. I remember the great Joe Torre overmanaging the Yankees out of a World Series when he brought the infield way in, and Luiz Gonzalez hit a soft liner just over the 2nd base bag to win the 2001 World Series.

My apologies! That had to be the greatest managerial move in the history of baseball! Maybe next time he could position the outfielders in the first row of the bleachers. That would keep them from having to jump over the fence in the case of a home run. I don't know why every manager doesn't employ this philosophy!
