Welcome to the club.
January 26th, 2017 at 11:21 AM ^
Oh my... I just about spit Gatorade everywhere after that clip!
January 26th, 2017 at 11:27 AM ^
Just CB Martin to ND. Hopefully he is reading some old notes.
January 26th, 2017 at 12:34 PM ^
I just looked at 247 and Keith Neibuhr (Auburn Recruiting Insider with a 89% accuracy) put his balls Blue for Michigan......
January 26th, 2017 at 12:35 PM ^
This guy put in a CB for ND and then immediately changed it to UM. It doesn't show it as flipped but I did see it in for ND and then changed.
January 26th, 2017 at 12:56 PM ^
Maybe it was a key entry error or maybe the recruiting insiders in the South are just as shady as the coaches!
January 26th, 2017 at 12:57 PM ^
That's cool. Just seemed odd, we certainly will take our Blue ball any day....
January 26th, 2017 at 1:32 PM ^
gets Martin's last OV this weekend. Done deal.
January 26th, 2017 at 2:01 PM ^
is taking his OV here this weekend. That's big news as OSU, Florida and Auburn were all vying for it. It's also probably why an Auburn writer put in his CB for us. I expect more will follow.

January 26th, 2017 at 11:06 AM ^
Will be very happy to see these come to fruition even if others do not fall UM's way. These would be a great way to close. Having said that, really want Willie Gay, and a mystery commit just for fun too.
January 26th, 2017 at 11:11 AM ^
January 26th, 2017 at 11:19 AM ^
Mystery flips are awesome.
January 26th, 2017 at 11:31 AM ^
holds the power to the mystery. If he comes to Michigan, no mystery. If he goes GA, there could be a mystery guy or Iffy.
January 26th, 2017 at 12:01 PM ^
I think I've heard on WTKA that there are 5ish spots left, but they're also considering grad transfer room too. is that why you're saying Nico holds the keys to the Mystery Machine?
January 26th, 2017 at 12:26 PM ^
At this point it's a numbers and need game.
Doesn't look like we are going to have anymore decommits, and I'm pretty sure Michigan doesn't want to deal with "we ran out of room for Kurt Taylor" stories.
January 26th, 2017 at 12:39 PM ^
given 30 (with 5 back dating to 2016) hits the 25 per class rule
5 more spots
1 - Solomon
2 - Becton
3 - Iffy
4 - Martin
5 - Gay/Collins/empty
this pretty much where we are now?
agreed it looks like no more decommits coming but then again I don't kow if we saw the OL decommit last year
January 26th, 2017 at 1:05 PM ^
There are some articles out there talking about how we can take up to 32-33. It involves backdating (I think a couple a years) and grayshirts. It would have to a mystery guy if we were to use a blueshirt.
I'm pretty sure if we take 31 kids someone is going to sue us or the NCAA is going to make a new Harbaugh rule. If there is a legal way to take 32 kids in a class, Harbaugh knows that way.
January 26th, 2017 at 1:20 PM ^
that would explain things
January 26th, 2017 at 1:47 PM ^
I find that extremely hard to believe. You can go past 30 by grayshirts or blueshirts. It's not new and by no means would Harbaugh be the first to do it. If we had ended up with a smaller 2016 class, we could backdate more and go even higher. Other schools have done that too.
January 26th, 2017 at 1:17 PM ^
are a blueshirt for Honigford or a grayshirt for Iffy. Honigford has his OV scheduled for this weekend. If it doesn't happen, that will likely be why. The grayshirt could be a tough sell to a kid committed to a P5 school. Of course, five more doesn't look likely at this point.
No inside info at all, but I'm guessing Carter Dunaway is on the team this fall. Probably as a blueshirt.
January 26th, 2017 at 4:49 PM ^
January 26th, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
He literally can't be a "blueshirt" based on how he was recruited.
January 26th, 2017 at 11:35 AM ^
has done all they can for Gay. Michigan (minus the weather) is a perfect situation for him football wise (perfect position and play as freshman).
Hoping for Solomon, Gay, and a WR to close out. If that happens, probably Michigan's best class ever.
January 26th, 2017 at 12:16 PM ^
I picked Michigan because I thought it would be good for my career. I did not give a fuck about the weather.
I hope Mr. Gay does the same. He will be a star at Michigan and it will highlight him for the NFL.
January 26th, 2017 at 12:24 PM ^
Woaaah. Hot academic free agent in his younger days here! And look at him now. Obsessively posting on a message board he doesn't own every day for the last nine years.
January 26th, 2017 at 2:01 PM ^
Yeah, but are you from the deep South M-Dog?
Not GAF about the weather is easier when you're already from the B1G footprint

Getting a good vibe about Willie's Matriculatory tendencies, or pointing his crystal balls in the right direction will depend on the strength of the Gaydar in each scout.
January 26th, 2017 at 1:56 PM ^
Maybe Frey has some of RichRod's old snake oil around?
I'd love to get some more OL this class, especially some he has already vetted & recruited...
January 26th, 2017 at 12:16 PM ^
He's so dreamy.
January 26th, 2017 at 12:33 PM ^
I have to assume there is some white pants hottie just about to enter the frame. I want to see who flows through that stream of people next.
January 26th, 2017 at 1:21 PM ^
its mcdaniels or edelman
January 26th, 2017 at 2:04 PM ^
Goodell handing him his 5th SB trophy is about to float into that frame next.
Or his wife brought some of her friends over for a pool party?
January 26th, 2017 at 11:07 AM ^
Man, I can't believe NSD is next week. It really snuck up on me this year. Can't wait to see what the staff pull out of the hat this year.
January 26th, 2017 at 12:20 PM ^
NSD snuck up on you?
NSD SNUCK UP ON YOU?!?!
We've been clawing and scratching and F5-ing since September until our fingers bled and NSD snuck up on you??
What kind of strange blissfully unaware alien are you?
January 26th, 2017 at 12:25 PM ^
Again. Former hot free agent here. Yeesh.
January 26th, 2017 at 11:08 AM ^
January 26th, 2017 at 11:08 AM ^
Seems increasingly likely that we will get Solomon. I could see both he and James Hudson in the 2 deep next year. Those two will be dudes in the interior.

January 26th, 2017 at 1:00 PM ^
Let me just say that reading that first sentence and hearing MacDonald Carey's voice was....an interesting experience. I will put it that way. The sad part is that recruiting seems to have become the daytime soap of the college athletics world, so I can totally see "All My Stars" and "The Young And The Academically Eligible" and so forth.
January 26th, 2017 at 11:11 AM ^
As in former NY Giants OL and son-in-law of Tom Coughlin?
January 26th, 2017 at 11:45 AM ^
but Google suggests the FSU insider's name is actually Chris Nee
January 26th, 2017 at 8:32 PM ^
Is he of the Knights that say Nee?

Not sure this needs its own thread, as this was pretty much already assumed, but nice to hear it's confirmed after Jay visited Samuels yesterday.
ESPN 300 RB O'Maury Samuels reaffirmed his commitment to Michigan after an in-home visit with new Michigan... https://t.co/w1TyZrrEri
