He is a teenager and was with a group of other recruits who were not considering michigan in fact one was a decommit. All southern recruits. He let the moment get the best of him and actually showed the maturity to reach out to staff to apologize.

Offers from Michigan are a HUGE deal to kids in the state of Iowa. Offers from Michigan with Jim Harbaugh as the coach are done deals with kids from Iowa.
I would be happy with only Solomon, but I'm greedy so give us Martin also!

Solomon & Martin will have a Laugh In if they come.
As far as fucking Michigan, he's saying The Devil Made Me Do It! His recruitment sure has been a weird and wobbly Tiptoe Through The Tulips, but I think he and they are one more Ringy Dingy away from committing.
If they come It will be Veeeeddy Interesting, But Not Schtupid. Definitely groovy. Do I want them to come? Sock it To Me, Baby!

My order of "do want" is:
Solomon - Confluence of 5*/Screw Saban/Need
Becton - Gots to have OL guys, specially OT guys. specially BIG OT guys with impassive faces
Gay - Better player than Becton, and really exciting Don Brown weapon
Collins/Martin - Yes to more WR, but other 3 are higher combo of need/talent, IMO.
Now - CROOTIN universe: Bend to my will!!!!!

film is pretty good. I did watch him play his state championship game (was the same weekend Michigan played Iowa) against Iowa's best High School team. They shut him down pretty easily, so I was concerned after watching that game. Seemed like the coaching staff backed off him as well.
He is awesome at 7 on 7, and his game will fit well with what Speight and McCaffery can do well in the game passing.
Did I mention Speight needs to work on his accuracy?

Not to sound racist but been wondering what all this fuss was about this Martin kid. After watching youtube video, looks like a pretty good wide receiver for a white boy! Haha, I'm caucasian too but he seems like a legit player. Pulls away pretty easily from kids with descent speed in short and long running situations. Get him!

can play the short and long passing game well. I was actually talking down to our qbs and not Martin. Speight and McCaffery have not shown they make the deep throws.
I'm also not sold that Martin is only a slot guy. He can be a star there, but can he also do some things on the outside if we miss on Nico.
But if you're asking me if I think he will outwork every wr on the roster? Yes, of course that is going to happen.

I still find it hard to believe with Solomon, after losing Elliott last year Solomon would be a major get. That would be the ultimate recruiting steal by Twitter. I can just invision watching him and Gary lined up together just destroying qbs!

this right about where the Great Sam Webb is. He won't Gut Feel it, but if he had to pick he would pick Michigan.
If Harbaugh get's Solomon, I think you have to consider it a bigger recruiting win than Gary. All things considered...

and the importance in filling a need, I would agree. I would expect this to become more and more like the norm as JH has raised the level of recruiting here and can be in the homes of these top recruits right up to the last days battling for their commitments.
