Honestly that schedule sets up much better...

  • 4 "warm up" games culminating with MD at home which won't be a cake walk but should be a solid first BIG win.
  • IU between Iowa and PSU...I like it!
  • 8 home games...always good
  • Bye week before MSU...again, very good
  • Rutgers after msu, which is good after an emotional game

Im seeing an 11-0 record headed into Columbus with the division already wrapped up.  OSU has Wisconsin early, MSU and PSU on the road and Iowa too. They could very well have 2 losses by the time we get there.

their D will be better im assuming - probably a 2 year change. But their offense with henderson, stroud and hyphenated WR will be better, though less dynamic than this year. They dont commit to the run, and on the road, and against us, i hope that destroys them.

Expecting us to be 11-0 is a bad life choice. Hope.

one thing's for sure. we wont be able to play the "we had the toughest schedule" card next year.  Go win!

Hey - remember when everyone was arguing whether basketball would be 15-0, 12-0, or 19-0? Lets do that with football. Me first.

Expect a night game for @Iowa - its early season and I'm sure theyre pissed. Will being "pissed" be enough to teach their QB how to complete passes? Doubtful. We should put up points.

Look for @Rutgers to be a TRAP game - i said it. I think Rutgers is improving. Following MSU, I can see it.

Not mad that Purdue, NW, and Wisky are off the schedule this year. Purdue is gona ruin some lives.

Nebraska, Illinois is a great tune-up for osu. Allows for a "tougher" game, but at home against a physical opponent, then a walk-through against hopefully inept Illinois.. leading to another top 5 showdown?

We have nothing to complain about. Go get it. Also, who is our coach?

I apologize for asking something that's probably a commonly known fact, but why aren't we playing Purdue more often?  The last time was in 2017 and 2012 before that.  I know the schedule is uneven, but it seems we'd play them more than twice over a 10 year period.
