Auburn coach says Harbaugh won't steal recruits
So far this is exactly what I imagined having Harbaugh as our head coach would be like in year one.
Kicking ass on the field, reeling in top-5 recruiting classes and pissing off a ton of people.
Wouldn't be surprised if he is written in to be mayor next election.

Me too. Only one problem, I really don't want him to win. Then he can't be our coach anymore.
Are currently drafting a rule for that.
I'm going to guess that the POTUS can't coach a college football team. At least not officially. Am I aware of a specific rule prohibiting it? No. Am I going to research it to find out? No.
For those that don't get drafted they get a chance for a spot on his secret service detail.
The spite for feckless, lazy and/or entitled assholes has been exceptional.

If “No one is coming to this state and getting a player from Auburn or Alabama,” then whatever was the problem with satellite camps in the first place?

They just don't want anyone to see the outside world. Even the Clinton Presidential Library looks like a trailer and I'm not making that up.
He is protecting his turf. It's his job as a head coach. I don't blame him for it. I do blame the NCAA for siding with him though as it shouldn't be the NCAAs job to protect a schools turf.
I don't think that he thinks that he owns them. He's viewing Alabama as his territory. Territory that until now has been nearly locked down by Auburn, and Alabama. I generally do not like defending the SEC coaches. But if Michigan was filled to the brim with five star recruits you can be damn sure Harbaugh, and that bridge troll that lives in East Lansing would be putting up no trespassing signs along the states border.
Michigan would have a lot more five star recruits too if that was the only path to success for such a huge part of the population.
If we want more players per capita we just have to take away all the industry. Easy!
