Aside from the road history, and perceived big game issues, is there any reason to think Michigan won't win at Wisconsin?

Michigan hasn't won at Wisconsin in 20 years. Harbaugh's Michigan teams haven't won as an underdog. Harbaugh's Michigan teams have been stellar against good teams on the road. We all know these narratives. But, every season, every game, is its own separate entity.

Wisconsin has not been a very good football team this year. Their defense has been good, but their offense has been inconsistent and turnover prone. We've seen this movie before. Remember the 2019 Michigan Wolverines? That team went into Camp Randall off of two unimpressive wins against Middle Tennessee and Army. Michigan's offense had a total of 8 fumbles (5 lost) in those two games. Then, they had 4 turnovers against Wisconsin. That's 9 turnovers in 3 games.

This 2021 Wisconsin team, with a 1-2 record, has turnovers in 3 games! Is there any logical reason to think Michigan won't win this game? History has no bearing this game. Last year, definitely, has no bearing on this game. Wisconsin has not played well this year, and aside from one half, Michigan has been superb. This game will be no contest!

I think the potential skill level is there for Michigan to score some points. I just think Harbaugh and Gattis do not know how to run an explosive offense. I just see WI stuffing the run, which means Cade will have to throw and if he is off, then we will not score many points. I guess I see no evidence that Gattis is that good at developing a speed in space game plain. But may be they will surprise me and the offense will score over 30 points on WI. I think that is really the only way we can win, is to outscore WI. I doubt our D holds WI under 21 points.

We win tomorrow. I don’t expect it to be pretty. We win next week; prettier than this week, but we go into the bye week thinking: “why do I feel so meh about being 6-0.” We beat NW no problem, and go to EL which is the one road venue for some reason Harbaugh does well in. We then host Indiana and chaos win vs them. Suddenly we head to Happy Valley with the most dumbfounded realization that we are 9-0

W's D is very good against the run.

M's passing game is mediocre.

M hasn't turned the ball over.  W has.  This likely will revert.

You are kidding

Don't turnovers tend to regress to the mean?  Was it the year we played Army closely that we had a bunch of turnovers early on and then we cleaned it up for the rest of the year?

Looked it up 2019:

MTU- 4 fumbles 2 lost

Army 4 fumbles 3 lost.

Wisconsin 4 fumbles 2 lost  2 interceptions

Rutgers 1 fumble 0 lost.   1 interception.

For the year we averaged 1.5 turnovers.

Wisconsin won't turnover the ball against us and the BPONE will be strong.   Still hoping this is our year but we're fighting an angry wounded badger.
