Anyone still going to Indy this weekend?

Submitted by Berger04 on November 27th, 2018 at 11:51 AM

Myself and 5 other will still be attending the game. We may all wear black but we are still going. We are going for a fellas weekend. Just interested in who is still heading down there. With  the enemy fan base in the area, we thought it best to see who is still attending. We think its best to hang with other Michigan fans. What bars will go be attending?

If I had tickets, I'd have already sold them.  No interest in any football right now.  I'll watch the bowl games when they finally come around.  But finishing out next weekend?  Don't care...

Sounds super fun. Watching Ohio State beat Northwestern by 50 and upping their chances of getting the 4th playoff spot. Who wouldn't want to spend an evening with 20,000 happy cooler poopers?

Definitely! Thank you for asking. Maybe we can meet up somewhere during... well after the game for a drink. I have stuff I have to do during the game.

Awe MH20. I make a genuine offer to go grab a drink with some very fine individuals like yourself and you go straight to the insults. That's ok, it really is. If that's what it takes for this friendship to continue, I understand.

Yep, the Spartan wife and I have gone every year. We have four tickets that we renew through Lucas Oil, so we take two other people with us each year.  I've had to see my wife's team there several times. I was SOOO excited to finally see our boys.

I know there's at least one guy in front of my who had it worse, he's there every year and his wife's a Buckeye.

At the very least it's a fun weekend of bar hopping.

I know this will make me sound negative, but I dumped my hotel reservation right after halftime and sold my tickets yesterday.  Very disappointing to not be able to enjoy what many other fanbases have been able to.

I turned the game off at halftime.  The wife (newlywed and went to school out west) is just learning to hate Ohio... wanted to know why.

I just responded that when you're a long-time Michigan fan, and you see them stubbornly running the ball into the line and trading TDs for FGs, you already know nothing good is going to come of it.

I went outside and enjoyed the rest of a sunny Saturday.

My wife and I will be Indy, as we are every year...sold my tickets though...we have a dinner reservation downtown, but skipping that isn’t out of the question as we may wait until the game starts and then go to one of the nicer restaurants after they clear out of the fans on the way to the game. We will probably see a movie and turn in to our prepaid, non-refundable Airbnb and then head out of town first thing on Sunday.

someday...someday...
