ESPN - despite being increasingly awful - is still leaps and bounds above Outkick. I mean, look at the people that work there:

  • Curt Schilling
  • Dan Dakich
  • Clay Travis
  • Tomo Lahren
  • Jason Whitlock (Formerly)

Its basically Breitbart meets TheBlaze, but for sports - complete with truly vile people who should never be given a platform to spew their poison. Yuck.

I won't make jokes about Alabama fans and their read comprehension and simply point out that that Outkick makes Barstool Sports seem thoughtful and well-informed so not getting too worked up about anything coming from an attempt to compliment a player.

David Hookstead also found it insulting.  Even though Harbaugh literally said he is pretty much a fully complete and better version of a backup Michigan has the writer also twisted the comment around.  If any team should use bulletin board material it is Michigan for Alabama saying they can't watch videos on their laptops because of the sign scandal.

Don't give this the time of day.  More sports "journalism".  Even 'Bama players and fans are not that stupid.  Well, maybe some of them are but let us not pretend this is something.

Dude has a deadline to write something, but has nothing to say. So he came up with this weak ass shit.  Would have been better if he wrote nothing.  He's really shamelessly fishing for a story here.

It is kinda true.  And the outrage and the pundits don’t really matter.  I’m nervous as hell for Monday, but I would be if we were playing anybody.  Let’s just play and see.  It’s not the end of the world, other than the deep, deep depression.

When I went to the rose bowl vs Washington state, I didn’t have a cell phone, I didn’t listen to opinions, I was a young dumb sophomore.  Didn’t have one grey hair.

it’s like sports predictions are like psychic help lines from a time before,  they either tell you what you want to hear or something that drives you nuts. (I would guess, we were too smart to listen back then)

I also realize this  was not necessarily a good reply to the op.  But Orji is a less polished Milroe.  But, I really was just saying modern day stuff that I pay attention to is just crazy silliness.  But I eat it up, so I’m silly.

but I know it’s silly, so maybe I’m less silly.

They're searching for motivation and bulletin board material because they need it to get up for this game. They're stretching every ounce of motivation out of signgate and now this because they aren't playing with a single minded focus like we are.

Michigan by 3 scores. Go Blue.

Directly from the article - "“He’s like a real polished Alex Orji. The athletic skillset, the playmaking ability, just the ability to extend plays — make plays — is really … the volume of the work and how it’s progressed is really impressive,” Harbaugh told the media Wednesday when discussing the Alabama star (via 247Sports)."

So, Harbaugh is saying that Milroe's skillset, playmaking ability, extending plays is really impressive.   That certainly sounds complimentary to me.

Then again - I don't listen to Finebaum regularly - nor do I read what this guy writes.
