Huh. Just assumed under the circumstances UM wouldn’t be playing next year.

Don't expect USC to play in the Midwest in mid/late Nov.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:18 PM ^
I agree in principle, but I suspect the rationale behind the September date was to have USC open their Big Ten era against the Big Ten's premier brand.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:23 PM ^
My USC-alum colleague just pinged me this as their road games:
(I trust him, he seems to have sources in the program - I guess I'm putting my rep on the line here though!)
September 21 - at Michigan
October 5 - at Minnesota
November 2 - at Washington
November 9 - at Maryland
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:32 PM ^
I'm pretty sure we were supposed to play Arkansas St. on Sept. 21--as of a few weeks ago, the future schedule page on MGoBlue had Fresno St. on Aug. 31, Texas on Sept. 7, and Arkansas St. on Sept. 21, with Sept. 14 open. Now Arkansas St. is listed as Sept. 14.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:36 PM ^
Yeah - it definitely was scheduled for the 21st.
FBS schedules (which is a good source for everyone's schedule and fairly up-to-date, although it's hard to keep up with 133 moving pieces) still has Arkansas State on the 21st.
That MGoBlue has updated it to the 14th .......... a very likely sign "something else" (USC) is coming to the 21st instead.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:11 PM ^
Yes, but does he have an Intel guy like our Stalions?😂
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:19 PM ^
One has to think that this will have to come to fruition at some point, right? There's no way the schedule makers can keep it that way forever.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:24 PM ^
They've gone to SLC, Boulder, and Pullman in November.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:34 PM ^
None of those are Midwest - and early November can be dramatically different than late November.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:20 PM ^
I thought we were getting kicked out of the Big Ten. The media is reporting that not only are the B1G coaches & AD's "upset", the SEC coaches are now "upset" too - lol.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:28 PM ^
USC is a Big 12 team /s/.
November 2nd, 2023 at 8:50 PM ^
Oklahoma State with prettier cheerleaders.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:22 PM ^
Just in time for Michigan to join the ranks of FBS Independents, which of course will then need "and Pariahs" tacked on. Ah, well, it was a good run.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:25 PM ^
9/21 - vs USC
10/5 - at Washington
10/26 - vs MSU
11/2 - vs Oregon
11/30 - at OSU
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:34 PM ^
Of course we'd get hosed, having to play USC, UW and OR in the same year...
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:38 PM ^
Penn St drops off. All three of those Pac 12 teams will have new QB's (just as we likely will), so who knows. At least the games are fairly spaced out, so no worries on a gauntlet type schedule.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:38 PM ^
Early fall in Seattle is good for us, for all really.
November home game against Oregon.
This looks good overall if it's accurate, and I'm sure we'll get USC to Ann Arbor in November at some point down the road.
November 2nd, 2023 at 2:18 PM ^
It could be two night games in September - with both Texas and USC coming to A2.
I'm 99% sure that USC will NOT be a noon kickoff - that would be 9:00 am PST, and I'd guess that USC would push back on that.
Perhaps Maize Outs on both those evenings...
Looking forward to hearing when Northwestern will be playing in Michigan Stadium next fall.
Go Blue!
November 2nd, 2023 at 2:30 PM ^
FOX contactually already has the Texas game. That'll probably be Noon.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:28 PM ^
We’ll see if Harbaugh is actually on the sidelines
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:33 PM ^
As long as OSU is the last game of the season I don't care
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:40 PM ^
I prefer the cfp championship game be the last game of the season 😜
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:51 PM ^
Why would anyone want to play OSU back to back weeks. It cheapens the first game.
November 2nd, 2023 at 2:16 PM ^
OSU and "cheap" are a perfect pairing in any sentence. After all, one of their primary venues is - "Value City Arena".
November 2nd, 2023 at 8:52 PM ^
Their dollar store hoops arena is the chef's kiss of their trashiness.
November 2nd, 2023 at 2:23 PM ^
With any luck at all Ohio State will have fallen into the abyss of losing at least 2 before The Game and as such be ineligible for the championship. Ryan Day will have been fired in 2023 for losing to Michigan a third year in a row and new head coach Brian Hartline will keep the tradition going.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:15 PM ^
Better still I hope OSU throws a tantrum befitting of how tough they are and take their ball and move to the SEC where they belong. Meanwhile we reclaim our rightful place at the head of the Big Ten table and get vengeance on the Little Eleven. /s
November 2nd, 2023 at 2:41 PM ^
The early graphic showed the Washington game AFTER Ohio State. I am thinking that is a tip that we are not going to be playing OSU the last game of the season anymore. We'll certainly know after 4pm.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:46 PM ^
That was not a chronological schedule release. That was just a graphic of opponents that was sorted alphabetically and grouped by home and away games.
November 2nd, 2023 at 2:56 PM ^
OSU draws… Oregon. One new tough opponent
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:50 PM ^
The previous iteration had OSU playing at UCLA as its one new opponent and no PSU. This version swaps UCLA for @ Oregon AND @ PSU.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:52 PM ^
Of course OSU and MSU have an absurdly easy schedules, while ours is the opposite.

Eight home games. Nice.
November 2nd, 2023 at 3:48 PM ^
I can't wait to see all those Pac 12 teams play against our defense. It's going to be great.
November 2nd, 2023 at 3:57 PM ^
I don't trust any leaks
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:08 PM ^
Interesting. 2 bye weeks.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:13 PM ^
Yea, it's one of those years when from Labor Day weekend to Thanksgiving weekend there are 14 Saturdays.
November 2nd, 2023 at 5:04 PM ^
I'm not sure I like that. Gives us double the chance to have damning information leak next year.
Heavy /s
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:11 PM ^
It'll change. lol
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:26 PM ^
This conference sure is tilted to the back half of the alphabet.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:27 PM ^
Interesting that USC and UCLA don't play Thanksgiving weekend like all the other rivalries. I just looked it up and USC plays Notre Dame then, so that makes sense.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:27 PM ^
I hope Connor’s mom and dad put enough in his account for him to pay for all those West Coast scouting trips.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:41 PM ^
Next years schedule is dumb. It was bad enough to have 4 home games in September this year now next year we start out with 5 straight Saturdays at home.
November 2nd, 2023 at 4:52 PM ^
Good to see Sparty paired up with their natural rival in the last game of the regular season.
