I hope the result stays the same.
I always wish and hope too see the 2006 and 2016 ones end differently when they replay.

I think the running time for this replay is 42:27

As have I...I pretty much watch at least a part of the game every other week.
That first drive and the entire second half is a the norm. I now know every play.

Halftime you say
Wonder what they'll do on the way to the locker room
September 1st, 2022 at 12:00 AM ^
They were spooked. Bullied on the field and in the tunnel to the locker room. UM knew they should have been up by more at halftime, but also knew OSU had no answer in the trenches.
Really exposed them as a soft and mentally weak team. Was glorious to see.
After all these years and beatings, UM just didn't give a fuck and acted as the favorites, had all the swag, and shoved it in their faces all game long. It just carried over into the tunnel.
Would love to bully them again this year in CBus.

Touchdown, Haskins!!
Wonder how many times we can say that tonight?
September 1st, 2022 at 12:13 AM ^
I will go out on a limb and say the over / under should be 5.
September 1st, 2022 at 7:31 PM ^
I love this picture so much.

I also enjoy the clip of the Iowa fan after the Edwards to Wilson double pass.

TOUCHDOWN, HASKINS!!!
Geez, been saying that a lot.
September 1st, 2022 at 12:27 AM ^
I completely forgot about that Smith-Njigba catch on 4th down in the red zone as they were driving down 28-13. I remember in the stadium seeing the replay on the screen showing clearly he was juggling it the whole way and let it hit the ground at the end. I was irate that they didn’t review it and let OSU snap it, whole stadium was booing. Of course they didn’t show any replay on the broadcast on Fox nor do Klatt or Gus even mention anything about it.

TOUCHDOWN, HASKINS!!!!!
This Haskins guy is pretty good.
September 1st, 2022 at 12:53 AM ^

I had the whole season saved on my dvr and the last two weeks I've been watching the games in order when I can and deleting them. Watched this one last night and I just can't bring myself to delete it. I still get a mile wide smile at the end and I still watch the postgame with that smile the whole time. It was magnificent.
September 1st, 2022 at 1:25 PM ^
I recorded both the full length broadcast and 1 hour rebroadcast on DVD. Can't watch them enough...
September 1st, 2022 at 7:37 PM ^
I watched College Gameday from that morning last Saturday and the FOX pregame show two Saturdays ago.
I'm fucking disgusting.
September 1st, 2022 at 5:12 AM ^
Second time watching it today! I usually drink my coffee, then get my beignet, then turn on The Game again, for my morning devotion.
September 1st, 2022 at 6:50 AM ^
I wonder if the fans will storm the field if Michigan wins!
September 1st, 2022 at 7:10 AM ^
I've watched The Game over and over for the past two weeks. One thing that stands out to me is how incredibly loud the stadium was the entire game. I can't remember Michigan Stadium being that loud in recent memory.

PUMP IT UP, YOU GOT TO PUMP IT UP!!! You'd have to be there to believe it!!!
September 1st, 2022 at 8:12 AM ^
watching for either the 27th or 42nd time..... I was in awe at how many times ohio's WRs made stroud look good. they made so many circus catches on poorly thrown balls or over/around nearly perfect coverage. in addition, if Hutch hadn't trimmed his fingernails that morning, he deflects the screen pass and they score one fewer TD...
The score ended up way closer than it really should have been.
September 1st, 2022 at 8:33 AM ^
Exactly. This easily could have been a 50-20 beat down. It was only close because of some incredible fourth-down heroics by OSU and some first half sloppiness by UM.
The good news: it was just the beginning.
September 1st, 2022 at 8:49 AM ^
Yeah there were quite a few insane catches by OSU's wideouts. But let's not bash Stroud too much, a lot of those balls were in a position where it was either a circus catch by the WR or an incompletion. Pretty good QBing
You take out one or two of those crazy 3rd and long or 4th down catches, Moten catches the easy interception, and that game is a complete and total (moreso) blowout
September 1st, 2022 at 2:22 PM ^
I always recall with Grey, Green, and Turner, they were routinely in position and where they needed to be. There were hardly ever a lot of yards after the catch, but still some crazy circus catches by JSN, Olave and Wilson. I don't think there is anything Grey could've done better on defending Wilson on that TD pass, for example. He was where he needed to be and did what he was coached to do. Just lost a battle with a top-10 pick.
Outside of Moten dropping an easy interception that would've ended the half 14-10 instead, I'm not sure there's much else the secondary could've done better in that game. They were facing three first round WRs. JSN could very well be a top-5 pick next year, and barring anyone completely coming out of nowhere, he will be the first WR off the board.
Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to the other guy and acknowledge he was better that time. Luckily, in the end none of it mattered. You gave those guys the only stat that mattered. A big, fat, stinking loss.
September 1st, 2022 at 9:12 AM ^
I DVR’d that game and have re-watched it so many times I have it memorized 😂 so I zip past Cade’s first pick near the goal line
Otherwisr I like to watch it from start to finish, commercials and all, to get the same feeling.
September 1st, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
I do the same...every now and again I skip the OSU TD drives in the second half as well. But I love watching that and the beginning of the Iowa game, along with the 4th quarter.
September 1st, 2022 at 9:45 AM ^
That was fun.
TOUCHDOWN WOLVERINES

If you missed the replay you can watch The Game at the link below. The other games from 2021, minus the MSU game for some reason, are here too. NFL games are on this site as well.
