How Many Football Games Will Michigan Win This Year? (Poll)
I got bored and started to wonder how many games the board thinks Michigan will win this year. Link below.
That still has wins over Wisconsin and Nebraska, too. It could be worse.
It does exclude a potential bowl victory though.
If they go 0-4 against our rivals, the season will suck.
its more or less about average
though psu doesn't scare me (last year an abberation relative to last 4 years)
That would be no shittier than any season from the last 10 years except maybe 2011 and 2016. Honestly 2011 was only saved by a miraculous UTL ending and OSU having their "worst team in 1000 years" (or w/e those fuckers always say). The 2016 team beat a 3-9 MSU squad, and the 2018 team has less talent whereas the 2018 MSU team will probably be much better than 2016.
Honestly I have Michigan at 8.5 wins (they'll go 2-0 or 1-1 against PSU/Wisconsin). I think that's pretty fair considering the difficulty of the schedule and the huge question marks on offense. After I see some actual in-game QB and OL play, I may or may not change my mind.
State MUST be put down this season.
ND was really good last year and MSU is a rock fight. I dont think the offense will make a huge leap this year, but that's just one nobody's opinion. Shea is exciting, but the Mgocommunity was doing the same exact things last year. "Wilton is out, but Okorn is going to better anyway. Okorn is out, but Peters is going to be better anyway. Peters struggled in the bowl game, but at least we have a better QB coming in."

It sure would!
1 win against a rival in four years? Yikes.

Though I would put MSU as a W, you can't remain snakebit in that game forever.
WI could be an L though.
1 Regular season loss
Way to be realistic, guys! 15, really?
I'd assume so. That's only way the poster could put 15 as a possible answer.
Yes.

Interesting to have wins on the road over all 3 rivals but losses at home to both Wisconsin and Penn State. It could happen but that would be pretty surprising.
think Harbaugh is going to put an extraordinary amount of time, focus, and game planning toward beating MSU and OSU this year. He is 1-5 vs. those teams right now. If he loses those games this year he is 1-7. That kind of number begins to look indefensible and becomes a real stain on his coaching resume. I don't think this team will go undefeated but I think they will beat MSU or OSU, and possibly both this year.
Wisconsin gets a few players back from injury I believe and returns probably the most experienced and accomplished QB aside from McSorly in the conference. I still don't like our safeties against PSU. I would not bet the house we lose to both of them, but both will be very tough games even at home.
the "this is the year we take our rivals seriously" has run its course.
got to show up and get results before i buy it
haven't really seen that from Harbaugh. I have barely seen him ackowledge that we have rivalries. Never have I seen a coach as married to the "just the next game on the schedule" concept as Harbaugh. Yes, I think it is possible for him to treat the rivarly games as games with an elevated intensity and meaning and I do think it will rub off on the players if he does.

beating anybody was priority 1 when he got here.
I would take that. I really want to beat those assholes in Columbus and the Sparty fans in my office have been stepping up their football troll game after we wiped the floor with them in basketball.
Wisconsin will always be tough. PSU still has McSorly but I'm hoping losing Barkley, Gesicki and Moorehead proves to be a difference maker.
Defense will keep them in every game.
Does it bother anyone else when people put part of their comment in the subject line?
me a lot!
thing has to go in the subject line.
yes it really does
Every game that we score more than the other team does.
are we counting the Spring Game?
All of them, I think this way every spring
13 wins!
13 wins!
