Selection Sunday and Final Four on TBS: huh?
The Final Four and Selection Sunday today are on TBS, not CBS as in the past. Are CBS executives just stupid? First of all, there is around 10% of this country that does not have cable at all, with only local channels and no streaming, and there is another 10% or so that are streaming only, and many streaming packages do not carry TBS. These stats guarantee that programs on Cable have lower ratings than programs on network TV. Why would CBS decide to have lower ratings for the Final Four? It makes no sense whatsoever that I can think of.
(typing this as I'm watching it on my projector mirrored to my iphone screen) hmm?

I figured the NCAA didn't want all the peoples watching us win the title!!
There are no stats that show this, otherwose all the other stuff that goes on cable would have done that. Nothing can change the 10-12% that don't have cable because many of them can't, due to location and availability, and many others do so by choice. They aren't changing becuase the final four isn't on.
It's now alternating every year, because Time Warner spent lots and lots of money.
They are using something popular to drive people seeing TBS as something they should want to have in their cable packages

Oh my, such terrible language! What's next, cheerleaders in thongs?
He's really reading all of the auto-qualifiers?
Yep. It's very important to reveal information the public already knows.
They could not possibly look more bored.
Yeah this is bad.
I feel like I'm watching a Japanese movie
looook! it's Godzillaaaaaah!
Are they filming this on a boat, in the ocean, with 5 footers?
TBS. Seriously, you're a disaster
So THIS is their new strategy? Take 20 minutes to reveal the 68 teams individually.
But still draw it out two hours before we know all four brackets. Those sly dogs.
To hell with Notre Dame.
Fake news!
