That game ended in the dark of night and it's very much still daytime on that scoreboard. Fairly sure it's Michigan 27, Wisconsin 25 in 2008.

Do you know him?
Dropping a note: On K. Walker. 4th offense (violation of team rules). He may be moving on even though I thought he was getting one more chance.

You think it's easy to decide when to run a horribly executed WR screen?

Don't be silly. We should line up our tight end as a fullback and hand the ball off to him of course.

thought that was just JOK fault?
Honestly would like it if Brian would post tearing apart the playcalling like he did JOK.

Chris Bryant will probably take this spot.

I had high hopes for him when he was recruited and was disappointed when injuries derailed his collegiate football career. Hope he becomes a successful analyst and coach.

Fingers crossed Hamilton goes to Oakland. That might be the best coaching change we make all off season.

How are you so confident that Hamilton is a terrible coach and much worse from Fisch? Because an offense that graduated a bunch of seniors, which by the way was the most prolific offense in Michigan history, took a big step back with new starters at almost every position?
January 11th, 2018 at 9:41 AM ^
Because I watched him get Andrew Luck killed. Also his stellar time with the Browns, but that could just be the Browns being the Browns.

While that certainly factored in, I got the sense that we were trying to run a lot of NFL passing concepts (option routes, lot more 5 wide WR than usual) despite the fact that our receivers were young, we had a revolving QB position, and the O-Line couldn't pass protect. If you know those things and keep running the offense the same way, that is a coordinator/coaching issue.
Look what happened when Peters started - the offense HAD to be simplified, we ran the ball a lot and basically beat 3 not so great teams by near identical scores. Wisconsin was hard to judge since Peters got hurt, but again in the OSU game our terrible O-line went up against the best D line in CFB and most of the sacks they gave up were just the QB holding the ball too long. In other words, we actually had a gameplan our players could execute (except for the QB, sigh).
Fast forward to the Bowl game and it looks like the whole playbook is "in play" now for Peters and he has a terrible game. Just the stark contrast between the OSU and USC games has to say something about gameplanning and playcalling.
To your original point, I don't agree with people that think Fisch coming back fixes everything because he was never the coach when we were heavily short on experience - there is no evidence to suggest he would have done better this year. There IS evidence to suggest our playcalling and gameplanning this year was a roller coaster of good and bad, which IMO has to be partially on Pep/Drev.

An analyst, you say?
Is he also going to be....a therapist?

So we (the Michigan fanbase) blame a guy that John Gruden (hero of heroes) wants to hire for our woes?
The collective Michigan fanbase is toxic.
