He is a guy leaving LSU because he wants complete control of the offense without head coach meddling. He wants to share no control. He isn't coming here.

he would be closer to actual Canada.
This might settle him down, being closer to the homeland from which he draws strength.

Isn't a Matt Canada offense the opposite of what we want? He runs misdirection and jet sweeps, why is everyone clamoring for him?
January 5th, 2018 at 10:11 PM ^
Because hes not Drev or Pep

He's known for building a system around players, and not forcing players into his.
His Wisconsin offense with Montee Ball looked totally different than his Pitt offense with Nate Peterman. And his Pitt offense looked different than what he did with Guice at Lsu.
Anyone who can get Danny freaking Etling with 14 Tds to 2 ints is good by me. Okorn was 2 tds to 6 ints and 5 fumbles(1 lost) in case you needed that depressing reminder.

Let's hope and pray we are building it around Shea Patterson...

QBs regressed under Pep

I think he might have said:
"QB's got killed this year..."
Getting your ass handed to you hardly qualifies as regression, IMO.

had a good OL, I don't thin he would have been a good QB. I still have hope for one of the young QB emerging and their toolage will be under Harbaugh.

You have a thing for our young qb's toolage huh? NTTAWWT.

It was true under Miles I didn't pay much attention to LSU this year but they did lose to Troy

a few times, A TON of motion, sometimes 3 different guys would motion, sometimes back and forth. Wasn't very impressed but 3 or 4 times per game it would really put the defense in a bind and they'd get a big play out of it.
It was about giving defenses lots to digest and looks while trying to create a mismatch, that once in a while they'd take advantage. Harbaugh does the same without all the wild motion.
