Jabrill gets 1st NFL pick
Stepped in front of a Steelers receiver, disguised his coverage. Of course, it was a backup QB.
That a UMin-the-NFL defensive back getting an NFL pick is probably not itself post-worthy. But Jabrill getting his first one, coming in the 17th game (from a backup QB) seems newsworthy. Proof that the Browns have been wasting his talent all season!!! Its really true, careers do go to die in Cleveland.

But the browns secondary has been hot garbage all year. Idk how any of those coaches are still employed.

I didn't notice his absence at Michigan this past season, did you?

Did you not see DPJ return punts? Everyone seemed to wish he was back there catching punts. On Defense, as much as I really liked Hudson, he wasn't a Peppers.

His stats at Michigan are misleading, how many times did he put us in great field postion? He was a talented athlete that I would have loved to have had this year

run some screens at him for a bit. Let's say best out of 10, knowing what's coming.

Maybe says more about the QB than JP. Pretty good punt returner for Michigan, after that a bit overhyped.

I said he was overhyped and after watching a season of Devin Bush, who had no hype, I stand by that. After watching a season of never hyped Tyree Kinnel, I stand by that assessment.
JP was an awesome athlete with a high speed motor, I've no problem conceding that, but aside from returning punts, there is no other position that hasn't been successfully filled by somebody else.

Peppers played better than Devin Bush. Watch the respective MSU tapes to prove that to yourself

It's not Peppers' fault the O staff couldn't use him properly.
Looked positively Debordian at times.
Defensise coordinators had to scheme around him, thats pretty impactful.

I only watch a handful of Browns game because I had Isaiah Crowell, and Josh Gordon for fantasy. I was really surprised to see how poor some of the pursuit angles were that Peppers took.
It was already talked about ad nasuem in the pre-draft scouting reports that Peppers struggles in coverage, but being how cerebral of a player he was in college, I didn't think he would have that tough of a time tracking down his opponents to tackle them.
Right now Taco and Peppers have both had pretty mild rookie seasons, but they still have time to grow into those 1st round picks... hopefully.
