Umm, thought you were a surgeon living the high life in Chicago?

The endzone is a bit much, but I really liked the M in the circle at midfield. I didn't know we used to do that.

it looked like the other endzone was painted with the opponents' colors

The weather was horrible. The tape doesn't give it justice. We watched it from the lobby of our apartment on campus. I was really upset that I missed being there. Ron Johnson was a LOAD!

They painted the south end zone in Wisconsin's colors, bowl game-style. Did they always do that back then?
I remember when they did it for Virginia in 1995, but that was the "Kickoff Classic" in August, which they did up like a pseudo bowl game.

My lifelong fandom was born in the freezing rain watching that performance. Not a bad way to begin.

And very nice that Baltimore native Poggi got the scoring opportunity.

We were chatting it up with the players at the end of the game from the railing. At Maryland, you are at surface level, only a couple of feet away.
The guy next to me jokingly offered to buy Gentry's helmet for $100. Gentry then pretended to throw it to him.
I asked Mo if he could give me an Uber ride home.
We kept telling the players to flex for us, which Chase and Mo did.
You could tell they got a kick out of having so many Michigan fans there, right on top of them.

That player never works on my comp. Weird.

I had the same issue but disabling adblock on the mgoblue website fixed it!

another good win. Really liked the interviews all the player interviews. especilly Poggi, Gary, Long, Metellus, Hudson. Well, all of them, including Gentry. Agree Gary did not seem to uncomfortable. Happy for Poggi.

Gary walked off the field after his injury favoring his left arm. He then sat down for about 30 seconds while a trainer talked with him. Then he got up and stood on the sidelines like nothing happened. He didn't get any other attention or treatment that I saw.
I'm not a trainer, but he didn't look like he was injured.

great effort by uche (and others) on longs INT return - uche bitched the TE on his way to QB pressure but was still able to get off the ground and hustle out in front to look for blocks downfield. thats the type of effort it takes to win big games and accomplish the teams goals. good stuff
