OT: Best Show You Are Currently Watching Not Named Game Of Throne's
Also really enjoyed Luke Cage and Daredevil.
Defenders is out soon, which is sorta like a new season of that show.
The actor who played Joffrey did an amazing job. He was just the easiest character to hate pretty much ever. The kid on The Strain is just a fucking awful actor and drags every scene hes around down.

Shot right here in Cobb County!
Ozark was really, really great. Can't wait for season 2 there.
Final season starts tonight.
Netflix - Black Mirror
Black Mirror is not a favorite of mine but is highly acclaimed.
Great show.
It's not for everyone, but I love it. It's the most no-holds-barred creative thing on TV. It makes me laugh, it creeps out, it repeatedly makes me think "what the ___" but whatever mode it's in, it entertains.
I also can't wait for season 3 of Mr Robot.
I'm into season 3 but can't lie - it is disapointing. Up until the killer is revealed in season 2 it was the best tv by far. This season is better than what followed the reveal, and it is quite a bit of fun, but I just really want them to recapture the magic of the start. They opted to go in a different direction. I'll get over it.
GOT is very good, but not in my all time great show list. Looking forward to seeing another season of True Detective (I think they're making it?) and the next season of Westworld. These are the two shows that have had the highest quality, to me, since Mad Men and Breaking Bad.
There are plenty of good shows out there, I'm sure. I have trouble delving in to new shows, so I try to limit myself to very good /great. Not much to choose from at the moment, imo.
Rick and Morty is at the top of my list right now.
Game of Thrones is one of the most overrated TV Shows ever. Anyways, I'm rewatching Curb Your Enthusiasm and Cheers at the moment. As for newer shows, Ozark was good although the way they wrote his teenage daughter was extremely annoying and cliche. But besides that I like everything else.
Looking forward to the return of Curb Your Enthusiasm this fall
I agree on GOT. I watched a couple episodes a few years ago with a friend and I just didn't get into it. I find it really annoying to have to constantly tell people that I just don't like the show. Nobody that likes the show can accept the fact that I don't like it.
I watched one episode of Ozark and I plan on watching more of that. Just finished season 2 of Last Chance U and that was a really good watch to get ready for the season. It's also really interesting to see some of the players from D1 schools that are trying to get their shit together. The QB from FSU that punched a girl in the face is in season 2.
I often find myself going back to rewatch The Office when I'm between shows. I'll only watch through season 5 or 6, though. That's when the show really starts going downhill even though it's my favorite show ever.
It was okay but not really my thing. I read some of the books but I like stories to have an ending.
Thrones final season is next year so the show version will definitely have an ending. The books though... yeah Im not confident in George finishing his story.
I don't think I would have liked GOT if I hadn't read the wiki page for the first couple of episodes after I watched them. It can be very difficult to understand wtf is going on and who is who without some sort of summary or knowing the books. After the first several episodes, though, the story became a lot more enticing and now I really like it.

I really did, I gave up midway through season 2 when I realized the show just couldn't hold my attention like other programs. I'm told I quit watching right before it got good but I don't feel like I am missing much. Maybe I wasn't as active on Twitter when Breaking Bad was around but it feels like the #GOThive is far larger than BB's ever was. Anywell, enjoy your sodomy and dragons, I will be ok without it.
I think Breaking Bad is slightly better than GOT and I love GOT

I too have watched some episodes of GOT and just not found it to my liking. I preferred Vikings or the show I've been watching lately The Last Kingdom over GOT.
Yeah the daughter in Ozark is one of my least favorite characters in recent TV memory. If she was meant to be awful, then she was played really well.

so my hatred for Laura Linney was already strong, then there was the opening scene of Ozark and I almost threw my remote at my television.

truuuu
The Expanse is way better than it has any right to be considering it's on SyFy.
Has season 2 started? I completely forgot about The Expanse and I quite enjoyed the first season.
is already over! It was awesome. I'm sure you can stream it somehow through their site, or Hulu, or something.
Turn is a great show, especially if you like American revolution history at all.
I'll throw in Archer in case people here don't watch it.
Yes great show that gets little acclaim. If you like history and spy craft you will love TURN.

I have to say I've really enjoyed Turn. You don't have to like history to find it interesting but it does help.
