SIAP: UM Offers 5* 2019 TE, with Assist from Jake Butt
Pretty cool story. Kid seems to be a stud (5*, top 20 overall), and after Coach Harbaugh offered him, they played a video of Butt congratulating him on the offer:

nothing to see here NCAA. No video exists. Look into MSU some more.
"I wish I was able to keep the video because it was crazy and really awesome"
Let's hope. Unfortunately, this is exactly the type of thing NCAA loves to look into. UNC, Baylor and UL got nuttin' on this alleged video.

Is that not a violation?
I do have a damn whore mouth :(
No. Schools can't publicly acknowledge recruits until they sign. So had they posted the video on twitter or something, yes it would have been a violation. That's why he couldn't get a copy. Behind closed recruiting doors, it's allowed. Jake Butt can do whatever he wants.
Yeah, I hadn't thought about this being a violation, and with the NCAA nothing would surprise me. But even if it was I imagine it would be a secondary violation, and OSU gets something like 325,000 each year...
Well, I bought her tickets to Hamilton, and she's been dying to see that. I'm thinking dinner at the Union Square Cafe. Tonight may be the night...
you could just go to Union Square with a pocket full of hamiltons and get what you are looking for, no problemo.
Plan B.
I watched Versailles* recently and did not realize that Circle of Trust was a thing that Louis XIV started. Turns out Urban is more literate than I thought.
*Versailles is a pretty good show even through it starts slow.
Oh come on, he didn't get it from that. You know damn well he got it from Meet the Parents.
I have nipples Greg. Could you milk me?
I forgot about that in Meet the Parents. Turns out Ben Stiller is literate (or his writers).
I'm usually the optimistic when it comes to recruiting but let's keep expectations realistic on a kid named Boomer from Oklahoma.
that the Okie head coach Stoops just retired and the uncertainty there about the new coach may open the door further for Michigan than what it would have been. That's all I got.
I read this further down in the article and it caught my eye. This is a quote from '18 OG prospect Jamaree Salyer.
"With Michigan, they are having success in Georgia, they have great academics and football," Salyer told Rivals.com, "so it is a school I am really looking into."
Michigan is starting to be enough of a presence in Georgia that it is really hard for any prospect to not take notice.
Don't really see it much
2019 is going to be the year of the Michigan Super Class if we can just overachieve this season. We just need to overachieve like Penn State did last year. Beat Ohio State, 10 or more wins, Win the Big Ten, Win a good bowl game or make playoffs, and next years class will be lights out
