OT: Fran McCaffery Won't Shake Hands
Game against North Dakota, Iowa gets a rebound with about 4 seconds left and the game is well in-hand. The ND player runs up to the guy and steals the ball and lays it up at the buzzer. Fran tells his team to walk off and they don't shake hands.

Video is at the top.
I can't stand Izzo's on-court antics, but I think this dude is the worst in the conference.
FYI: Stu Douglass calls Fran a "small child".

Germophobe. 10 years.

You need an answer, you just ask the 8 Ball.

A pretty classy individual.
You just went to battle with another team. Show some respect, ESPECIALLY after winning the game it should be much easier for them to shake.
December 21st, 2016 at 12:30 PM ^
Respect is shown in how your team conducts themselves on the court.
December 21st, 2016 at 12:48 PM ^
I don't know about you, but I sure respect players and teams that give it their all until the final buzzer.

Respect and class ARE shown more on the field/ice than a handshake afterwards. Like Dino said "I can’t believe I shook the guy’s frigging hand. That just pisses me right off."
That being said hockey has it right with how they line up at the end of the series.

ND was super disrespectful in this game? I saw a couple people say that there was a flop and the play at the end. That's about it.
That's enough to not shake the other team's hand over??

Play until the whistle.
I can only imagine Harbaugh as a basketball coach...

40 minutes of Harbaugh.

Arkansas Razorbacks teams called it "forty minutes of hell." There were a great defensive press team, and very fun to watch.

I don't understand what there is to be angry about. This would be like a football team down two or more scores running a pass play with 1 second left on the clock and getting a TD. No one would fault them for that.

That's a weird look for Stu. Quite honestly, he fell into such a great situation with Michigan where he got to play for a major university that wasn't good enough to have him sit. If at the time he was playing for a great basketball program, he wouldn't have seen the court.

Come on guys, we're better than petty attacks on former athletes for speaking their minds on a difficult subject.
It was during the Iowa game, and I actually engaged with him a little bit. I was disappointed as well but his tweets were thought-provoking and not really inflammatory. He went through the meat grinder of the Michigan basketball program, and has a perspective most of us will never have. You don't have to agree with everything he says (and I don't) but you should listen and respect him.
I'm not going to try to summarize but you can probably go back in his timeline to see them.

I'll defer to the "Chargers Security guard enjoys view of cheerleaders" thread for more importance.
It's the holidays, nothing is going on with Michigan football right now other than the occasional recruiting bit. Not much to discuss.

originally posted, there was another thread posted that was on a security guard of an NFL team that got fired for inappropriate behavior. Prior to the game he was watching the cheerleaders practice while, shall we say, playing "pocket pool." A photo of him doing this was posted in the thread.
The security guard thread got pretty out of hand, and fast with a lot of comments, and was removed by one of the mods (so you can't see it now). So the above poster thought your original remark was more in line with what was posted in the security guard thread, I guess.
