What did he/they say?
October 13th, 2016 at 8:39 AM ^
It's JoUrdan Lewis. Jourdan Julian Lewis. (Not "Jordan Lewis" as posted.)
Almost assuredly just a typo, but OP - hurry and fix it lest more of us wag our fingers at you!

I caught it after it started (thank you, ijohnb!). Questions asked:
Comparison to '97 defense, which got better as season progressed
Comparison to Jabrill; who's the better player, has he done any interviews where Jabrill hasn't been brought up (ugh...Jamie asks the most inane questions) (said they're different players, with different strengths, but he understands how you can't really talk about the D without mentioning Jabrill)
Celebrities around the program (Jordan, Brady), whether he got any individual time to interact with them (no, too many players)
Playing for "crazy man" Don Brown (I zoned out on this response; audio was really bad/muffled, like not talking directly into the mouthpiece)
Thoughts on getting drafted by the Lions (he just wants to play football, but of course it would be nice to play "at home")
No "plowed and re-plowed" questions about favorite cereal or eating boogers, thankfully.

I stopped right around the 97 defense topic. Before that they talked about the bye week and what kind of things they did in it (mostly just relaxing). Also about going to the steak house and eating steak with milk and how Harbaugh is a unique character. And they talked about the interception against Wisconsin and what was going through Lewis' head during that time and whether he's talked to Woodson about their respective notable interceptions.

was pleased that milksteak got a mention. No mention of how Harbaugh likes it prepared though. I assume boiled-over-hard but who knows.

brings to mind harbaugh's idiom for Jake: "Tougher than a two dollar steak"
Considering the amount we won by, it probably was almost a two dollar steak.

I get it. You put Jordan as a play on the Jordan Brand. I got your back, John.

Lewis is a pretty down to earth guy. The audio kept cutting out and it was very muffled. Just asked a lot of generic questions about the team, defense, Don Brown, Harbaugh, bye week, etc.

I always thought he was pretty annoying.

Of Jamie and Stoney is actually tolerable. McAllister ruined the show for me.

hyperbole, Bill was the worst radio personality I have ever heard. Throw them all in there, Cowhard, Rome, Valenti, f-ing Michael Savage. There has never been a radio personality less tolerable to me than Bill McAllister. That pink slip was a long time coming.

That's the current method of radio.
However, I do enjoy Valenti's show. As much as he can get on a roll with MSU/Michigan, when you pay attention he's actually quite fair to his teams. And he knows his shit, gotta give it to him.

does know his stuff, but he is anything but "fair" with regard to Michigan and MSU talk. He is skilled at manipulation to make it appear that way, but everything he says is aimed at minimizing any Michigan accomplishment. He has it both ways - if Michigan State beats Michigan it is real, if Michigan beats Michigan State it is because Michigan State "sucks." He is setting the table for it right now. It may seem as though he is being "hard on his team" to show how unbiased he is, but in reality what he is doing is making a Michigan win this year irrelevant. I will give it to him, he is able to pull if off without it being completely obvious, but his entire approach regarding the teams is to lessen any Michigan accomplishment by way of clever semantics.
