We lost Chapman and Chatman? Oh no!
Chapman is a Div III sharpshooting big man that nooobody has on their radar.
I hear Durant is looking around this summer. Hope we get him as a grad transfer.
3 years of eligiiblity left. That would be huge.

Dammit - I guess we should have waited until the NBA season was over.
Hope Red is cool with not lighting up stogies inside Crister.
Agreed with the OP on the "best case scenario" take, especially after reading the quick and dirty about these guys on UMHoops. Don't want to take page views away, so here's the link (scroll down to the last header):

Very good read. Thanks for the link.
Admittedly, my eyes lit up about here:
Donlon’s teams have pack-line fundamentals — the same system that has given Wisconsin, Virginia and Xavier so much success — but are aggressive forcing turnovers, cleaning up the defensive glass and actually commit fouls at a fairly high rate (FTA/FGA allowed over 40 in every season).
If any portion of that could be recreated, I would be down with that.
I like the sound of what Donlon can bring to the table.
Wright State was stupid to fire Donlon. He got shafted here. Great coach. Will do great things for UM.
Realistically where do you go as a HC after getting fired in the Horizon League? Their HC salaries are comparable to what our assistants make. If he had to take a step down from there, he's probably better off at Michigan and not just because of the money.
Exactly, competitive salary, big stage to showcase coaching ability o and a minimal, if any, move.
I really like this move as a next step for him, and if he can get the defense going again and provide a shot in the arm there and then move on after a year or two then this is great for all sides.
...you aren't peeing yourself waiting for WD to chime in?

I think one of them is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and humanitarian. He is best known for his work with his E Street Band. Nicknamed "The Boss," He is widely known for his brand of poetic lyrics, Americana, working class and sometimes political sentiments centered on his native New Jersey, his distinctive voice and his lengthy and energetic stage performances, with concerts from the 1970s to the present decade running over three hours in length.
Well done.
Agreed, but instead we'll probably just get some post about gifs. Or another draftpocalypse.
I think those are two good decisions. Donlon knows defense. Hopefully it's emphasized a little more now. Washington was the big man coach at Oakland and he's been recruiting the MW for years. Should have solid connections.
to the list of coaches that will be considered to replace Beilein when coach hangs up his whistle. Hopefully he can stay here for at least three seasons.
But can they recruit?

and call it a day. Two twin 6-7 wings with decent shooting numbers? Sounds like what we need.
What the hell is going on in Raleigh? I think I saw 3 possible early NBA entries from that team. Seems like they have some talent, but never seem to get things straight.

He's apparently recruited very good guards, but he doesn't coach them.
