I enjoyed Skyrim and Battlefront back in the day (haven't played new one yet), but NCAA was the only game that ever made into a "gamer". Would make me buy a console again. NCAA was life in the childhood of Dr. Toboggan.

I don't have a current generation system because I'm not paying for something I'd touch a few times during the summer.
If NCAA comes back, I'd go out and buy one just for that game as that's the only game I play. That's the only reason I even asked for a PS2 for Christmas when I was a kid. That game.
I use the current rosters on NCAA 13 (13 has white pants for road games), but it just isn't the same. So much stuff has changed since 2012.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:47 PM ^
How are there white pants for Michigan in a video game?
January 11th, 2016 at 12:50 PM ^
You could customize it.
In NCAA 13, the 2011 uniforms worn in the trash tornado game were in it. You just change the pants from standard to alt 2 on the uniform screen and you have all-white road uniforms.
January 11th, 2016 at 1:29 PM ^
Oh yeah, forgot that uniform is in that game.

Just Google "latest EA NCAA football rosters." There are people making rosters every year.

You could try the message boards on Operation Sports for a current roster. I'd be shocked if they didn't have them for 360.
On a side note, hooked up my PS3 specifically to bust out the Denard-covered NCAA 14 during the season. Just HAD to put Peppers in on a few offensive formations. I also have mp3s of tons of band music queued up for specific moments- Temptation on 3rd down stops, etc. Ratchets up the enjoyment so many notches.

I think Xbox 360 would be best for the NCAA. Before few days I was also confused about the system configuration of battleborn game. But than one of my friend suggested me to Buy Battleborn with Xbox 360 from instant-gaming.

I haven't picked one up, I've been playing NCAA 14 on my old 360, best cover too I may add. However I've been on the cusp of a PS4 since they announced FF7 remake, this would push me over the edge and I'd pick one up immediately.

“No news, sorry to get your hopes up.” EA Sports rep to me re: that Facebook heartbeat video. It’s about tonight’s nat’l championship game.

I don't believe that at all.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:52 PM ^
I'm totally sure a page that has been silent for almost 2 years just did that to post about the game tonight.
The guy is having a meltdown on his twitter page right now at the people tweeting him. He must not realize that million dollar companies lie.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:55 PM ^
By saying "No news" they arent lying or even denying anything just saying they have no news to announce at this time.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:34 PM ^
I also find it hard to believe. What does a heartbeat have to do with the game tonight? Either their social media person is a complete troll, or there is something going on.

Im with you on this one.
EA may be doing a good job of keeping whatever they are doing underwraps because i havent heard a peep about this game being in development or even being thought about until the case is closed.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:31 PM ^
I'm probably in the minority here, but I would have been fine with NCAA 14 being the last one ever made. I only say that because a) Denard is on the cover and b) I never invested in a PS4 or Xbox One. I don't play enough video games anymore to justify that purchase.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:41 PM ^
are in the minority. The rub is that it doesn't have the playoff. Many people including myself really only play dynasty and it sucks to have a dynasty mode not comport with real life in a very fundamental way. I have not bought the game specifically for that reason. They could sell a billion (give or take) more of the 2014 game if they just had a playoff "patch" of some kind. Seems like they could make that work and people would not bitch. Until games are 4D it is not like they really can do that much more with the content and/or graphics on the game, it is just that the last game ever made was the year before the playoff. Horrible.

Apparently there were talks after 14, but before the NCAA case, of putting a mincraft-esque stadium builder in the next game. It would allow you to build from scratch for create-a-teams or add on to existing stadiums.
That got my engine all kinds of revved up until they cancelled the series. I loved making my stadium for my create-a-team in the older Madden games.

I may just go build a stadium on Minecraft after all this talk - If my son will let me play :(

I'm 34 and freaking out. It's perfectly acceptable for people of all ages to play video games. I fail to see the difference between doing that and playing board games or watching TV. Vieo games are just another mode of entertainment.

I predicted the cessation of NCAA football games when the O'Bannon decision was pending, and took a lot of heat for it, but this is one of those situations where major changes can have unintended consequences. We'll see if the denials are accurate or if there is an actual pulse here (denials are nice, but that pulse vid is pretty unmistakable).
January 11th, 2016 at 12:40 PM ^
dynasty players though, why could they not just release a "College Football" game without current player likenesses? That would solve a lot of problems it would seem.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:42 PM ^
They were going to do that in 2014 but they had to go to each school and conference and gain approval for the licenses.
B1G did the usual embarrassing B1G thing and denied their request. I believe the P12 did, too.

I'd be on board with this. It would be nice to have a current generation NCAA football game. I'm still waiting for the last one to become backwards compatible.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:48 PM ^
They don't even need to have any likeness and have no dynasty players. Just assign generic position specific #'s, randomly generate skin colors, make all QB's right handed to start w/, and assign ratings accordingly
January 11th, 2016 at 12:51 PM ^
The problem with that is not many people would buy it. I know I would not.
January 11th, 2016 at 12:54 PM ^
Why? You have websites of people that do rosters every year. You can just download them when they're fixed.
Please EA, for the love of GOD, make the roster sizes bigger. Make it the full roster cap size and 105.

No idea. If it's a space issue, take out the stupid shit that no one plays.
Mascot games? Road to glory?!
Road to glory is such a waste of space. If you want yourself in the game for some odd reason, just edit the dynasty roster.....
Also, the gimmicks. No one gives two shits and a holler about Ultimate Team. No true fan would ever play Heisman mode and put Eddie George on Michigan or Desmond Howard on OSU.
January 11th, 2016 at 1:05 PM ^
Ultimate team is the most popular game mode. Same with other EA games. I'm sure it would do very well in NCAA.
January 11th, 2016 at 1:33 PM ^
January 11th, 2016 at 2:57 PM ^
I never tried that mode once. For me, it's dynasty mode 99% of the time. I do road to glory simply for easy Xbox achievements, but then go back to dynasty.

Is wait 2 days and there will be several downloadable rosters with all the players likeness and attributes, as well as full named rosters.
