You know it. The noon games start at 1 or 2 AM. That means either a long, long night; or a cutting Saturday night early, trying to take a nap, and waking up in time for kickoff. Either way, it messes with your Saturdays and Sundays.
If and when to start, stop drinking is an important question as well.

If Bama and/or Clemson lose, I worry OSU gets in. Would they actually let two teams from the same conference in the CFP?
December 5th, 2015 at 4:03 PM ^
Not Florida beating Bama
December 5th, 2015 at 4:03 PM ^
They're not jumping Stanford...and I think UNC would get in over them too, but that one would be debatable.
Go Tigers, Go Gators, Go Hawkeyes, Go Cardinal
- Clemson
- Oklahoma
- Iowa
- Stanford
- OSU
- ND
- MSU
3 rivals left on the outside...

None.
We're in the Citrus unless the B1G doesn't get an At-Large, in which we'd drop to the Outback.
December 5th, 2015 at 4:10 PM ^
Because OSU would be ranked higher than MSU...meaning the Rose Bowl could take them if they wanted. So much disrespect.
December 5th, 2015 at 4:14 PM ^
Wouldn't we want Bama to win to ensure no fuckery happens allowing for OSU to sneak in?
December 5th, 2015 at 4:20 PM ^
You want Stanford to win to ensure that.
If Stanford loses THEN it'll get interesting should Bama or Clemson lose.
If Stanford wins, they're 100% the first team in. You can go back and forth with UNC or OSU should it come down to those two for one spot. THEN, I wouldn't trust the committee.
But if Stanford wins, it's not even a question.

Few things...
Last year doesn't matter. FSU was an undefeated national champion last year and they were THIRD going into the playoff (while #1 in the AP Poll all year). It's about THIS season.
That was OSU's only ranked win of the season.
Stanford has beaten USC on the road, UCLA at home, and Notre Dame at home. They have more quality wins. AND they would have USC at a neutral site...that's the kicker.
And ND is ranked higher than Michigan if you want to play tit for tat. So Stanford's win may actually be considered the better win...we all know how highly the committee thinks of ND.

Again - it's Stanford that needs to jump OSU, not the other way around. OSU is #6 right now, and one of #4 and #5 is going to lose. If another one loses, they're going to get in.
December 5th, 2015 at 4:48 PM ^
This is not the AP poll...your logic doesn't work when it comes to the CFP.
In the AP poll yes, you need someone ahead of you to lose.
Not in the CFB playoff.
If you want to make an AP Poll prediction thread, go ahead. I can't argue with you.
However, all season and most importantly...last year, the CFP rankings PROVED that the previous week DOES NOT MATTER.
Did you know this year teams have LOST and gone UP in the rankings? That would never happen in the AP poll.
OSU doesn't have a 13th game, they don't have a championship, they don't have an added win over a ranked team like Stanford would if it won tonight.
It's not even a debate.

unc has a reasonable shot to beat clemson. clemson has been very good but they dont dominate up front on both sides of the ball like #1 or championship teams should dominate. clemson has plenty of athletes and a dangerous QB but unc is built much the same. i think it could be an entertaining game.
itd certainly be intersting to see how unc ends up in the polls if they finish strong with a conference title game win over #1. unc had a pretty weak loss to open the year but itd be tough to keep a 1 loss conference champ that just beat #1 out of the playoff.
osu would need some serious help. i think theyre absolutely 1 of the 4 "best" teams in the country and theyd be dangerous once again in a playoff scenario but thankfully osu is unlikely to make the top 4

This is gonna be pretty ugly. Of course, it'll be touted as a defensive struggle instead of "Florida sucks on offense and Alabama doesn't need to do much."
December 5th, 2015 at 4:13 PM ^
24-3, 17-3...something of that nature.
December 5th, 2015 at 4:22 PM ^
Yeesh. Two AWESOME defense. One average offense. One awful offense.
