Goodbye, server.

Brady, you were a good guy, but not the right fit for the program. However, I wish you the best of luck.
Let the chaos begin. POSBANG

No Posbang. We should be happy in the potential for the future being better, but it's still sad that a good guy like Brady didn't work out.

Try looking at some of the players reactions and things they have to say about him then try saying it's appropriate. Theres absolutely no doubt about how much he meant to the players and for that reason alone I think it's premature and uncalled for. This isnt Dave Brandon we are talking about.

Hackett's presser?

Neither did the players.

Good luck, Coach, wherever you may go. I'm truly sorry it didn't work out.
December 2nd, 2014 at 3:36 PM ^
Yep, I really wanted it to work out...but it didn't. Not for lack of effort...just wasn't qualified for this gig. Would love him as a Dline coach but obviously it's best to go our separate ways. Maybe we can still be friends at some point in the future.
December 2nd, 2014 at 3:40 PM ^
Agreed. Hopefully this means better things for both the University and Coach Hoke.

didnt see this coming.....

I feel bad for Coach Hoke, but pretty good about the decision. Many of us appreciate the efforts Coach Hoke put toward the job, if not the results. All the best to Coach Hoke and his family moving forward - may you win a PacTen COY award sometime soon.
Now, Mr. Hackett, go out and find us a wonderful coach!

I was trying to fix that to say Pac12, Coach Hoke. But the server kicked me off, and Michigan semi-alum and Michigan Mom Madonna (I assume all screen names are legit, except when I don't) tossed in an "amen" before I could correct it.
Busy day on the server, I've a hunch.

I hope this fanbase is mature enough to realize that a man just got fired from truly his dream job (albeit a warrented firing). I feel sad for Hoke, but happy as a Michigan fan.

But now I feel like Frank Shirley in "Christmas Vacation". Best wishes to Coach Hoke and the staff.
Now, administration: Hit us a grand slam!

Did you hear RR won Pac-12 COY?
December 2nd, 2014 at 3:29 PM ^
Well that should stir up thing for michigan.
December 2nd, 2014 at 4:03 PM ^
what's the big deal? Brady Hoke was 2011 B1G COY. Did that mean anything? By today's news, obviously not.
December 2nd, 2014 at 7:19 PM ^
Well....considering Hoke won coach of the year with a team built around a lot of Rodriguez's players.....Yeah, it does mean a little something.
December 3rd, 2014 at 7:39 AM ^
Well asshat the difference is that Butterball Hoke won that award with a team of Rich Rod players! My god you're dumb. Every year that went by and Rich Rod's players left the team the worse they got. Now go back to shopping at Wal-Mart.

This news is bittersweet. Brady Hoke is a great man and a good player's coach, but unfortunately, he probably isn't the best coach for Michigan right now. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Great guy, not-great football coach. Hope you land on your feet
