Tennessee or Mercer
Which one do you want to play? Which one do we match up best against?
Uhhh people that like basketball and are in it to see Michigan win? Just a thought.
By a mile
The one that's not top ten in Kenpom, no matter how inflated that is.
Tennessee has been playing very well lately...more worried about them than Mercer, but Mercer looked great against Duke. Pick your posion.
We have now played 5 games in 9 days. Our boys looked a bit tired in the 2nd half. That shoiuldn't be a problem next weekend.
Sweet 16 - Go BLUE!
We are giants compared to Mercer!
How so?
Tennessee is ranked 7th by Kenpom, Mercer 81st. I'll take my chances with Mercer.
That said, confident in the Beilein v Tennessee matchup.
Kenpom doesn't mean nothing.
So it means everything?
And don't tempt the kenpom curse.

But it means something.
Mercer all the freaking way. TN is actually probably much better than their seed indicates. I'll take the Cinderella that has a week to cool it's jets and give Beilein a week to prepare.
Rather not face the #7 ranked kenpom team, thanks. (Mercer is #81.)
Oh wait...
But seriously, I'd rather play the University of Hoboken Fighting Fudge.
Play well and we're better by a significant margin than either.
but Im rooting for Mercer
If Dakich and that cool white dude from Mercer have a halftime dance off I am all for Mercer.
Louisville. I dont care what the question was, I want revenge!
Mercer all day. We struggle against athletes, not systems. Dogs win with coaching and by making shots. We're just not going to get outcoached by anyone, and our length and awesome shooting should neutralize their shooting.
This is almost like asking "Would you rather play Dunk City or any of the other teams they beat?" As always... play who you play, and then win.
Huh? Mercer beat Dunk City to get into the tournament.
^ This.
The one with the orange colors.
Growing up a Vanderbilt fan I hate Tennessee. Add in Fulmer voting us 4th in 1997 and it's too much to bear. I hope Mercer destroys them and barring that, I want their entire team to come down with the bloody flux two hours before we play them.
Bloody flux...that sounds graphic.
Mercer's center is out for tomorrow's game with a concussion - considering our rebounding today...
Both have bigs who are central to their success. I knew a bit about Tennessee's Stokes but I was througly impressed with Mercer's Coursey; that guy can ball and is a true Center, something not seen these days. Morford will have their hands full with those two. Guard play probably leans toward TN but again, Mercer has guys who can ball, SRs at that. I would probably lean toward Mercer but not just becasue Ken Pomeroy says so.
They both play dude. That's all it means. How in any way am I slighting Morgan? Does he play more? Yes. But Horford plays meaningful minutes as well. You're overthinking it.
We do not match up well with Tennessee

Anybody able to explain why Kenpom loves Tennesse to much?
they're the best team Wichita State beat? Gotta justify the 1-seed...
When they win, they tend to blow out teams.
They are great in transition, physical downlow, and McRae is a elite 2-way player on the perimeter capable of shutting down Nik or Caris.
