Alabama football redshirt freshman Elijah Pritchett was arrested by Tuscaloosa Police Wednesday night.

Pritchett was charged with knowingly passing on a sexually transmitted disease according to a report by the Tuscaloosa Thread. He was later released on a $500 bond.

The offensive lineman has appeared in all 13 games this season for the Crimson Tide, but mainly in a reserve or special teams role. Early in the season, Pritchett was fighting for the left tackle starting job with Kadyn Proctor.

Bigly messed up thing for him to do, but he's in good company. Really we talking about player STDs, these kinds of dogshit posts make me want to delete my account tbh.  So disappointing to open up the forum and see this at the top.

I have no idea what Alabama prosecution practice is, but in the jurisdiction where I work, I've only seen this kind of charge where it accompanies some more serious sex assault or as a plea-bargain down from a greater sex offense. Seems odd to see it as a stand-alone basis for an arrest.
