Ronnie Bell Ballin'
Bell looked good in his first exhibition game with the 49'ers. Three receptions for 58 yards including a 37 yarder linked below, plus a 15 yard run.

Also Mazi looking extremely violent in this clip from his first game. Throws off a double-team and then swallows the runner.

And here's Ronnie's 15 yard run - Coach Herb will be proud

Ronnie was a 7th round pick?
Frickin steal.

Just Ronnie Bell doing what Ronnie does. We all saw it for years, now the non college (nfl only fans) will see what we all knew and only Harbaugh and staff saw in a no name recruit. Love this young man!

If that’s the next streaming service the NFL is going to dabble with, I’m not sure if I could justify the subscription with my wife.

The thought of Mazi actually getting stronger and maturing is downright scary!

Ronnie looked good, but still had 2 bad drops. Needs to clean that up, but he looked quick out there

The promise that 37-yard catch showed bought him a couple of drops in his first NFL action ever. He'll be a good player for the '49ers...

I've got to believe that you've got to give receivers some grace for drops in their first couple of weeks of NFL action. The nerves have to be off the charts. If it's still an issue after that, more time on the jugs and maybe some time with a sports psychologist to get rid of the fear/anxiety.
That pass over the shoulder was a dime. And that run after the catch reminded me of one of JJ's runs in The Game.
Mazi demonstrating the player development edge at Michigan. Between Coach Herb and going against a Joe Moore award-winning OL for two years, we're talking elite-level player development. Aidan's going to tear it up this year as well.

I saw the deep pass he caught and he looked smooth in doing so. He will fit in in the NFL as a 2nd or 3rd receiver option for the Niners.

for those wondering, Moody with just an XP after missing from 40 and 57. :/

Strange that Moody missed more FG in one exhibition game than he did his entire career here.

he has such strong hands. catching away from his body while being hit is impressive every time

He looked good on punt returns also! Glad to see him doing well, hopefully this is just the first of many highlight clips we see from him.

From glancing at some 49ers blogs it looks like he's in a battle for the ~5th wide receiver spot on the roster so showing he can contribute on special teams plus his crazy work ethic will go a long way towards making the cut. We all know no one is going to out-work or out-effort him.

Nice to see. Continuing to show that recruiting starz aren't always accurate.

Ambry Thomas had a good showing too.

Bell is one of those guys who doesn't blow you away with his speed, his size, or his athleticism, but is constantly getting open and making catches.
Love to see that he continues to do what he did at Michigan. QBs tend to love players like him that make their lives easier. Tough runner too.

Really happy for him given his injury and coming back. Hopefully he can stick around in the NFL for a bit.

His positives outweigh his negatives for a rookie contract. I expect him to make the roster.
Good blocker, above average returner, decent route runner, makes non-vertical circus catches, can play 2 receiver positions. That's a solid #4 receiver profile on a cheap rookie contract.
Lacks: elite upfield speed and separation, vertical contested ball capability. He needs to improve on that or be productive for a 2nd more expensive contract.

You aren't improving your speed and vertical too much in your mid 20's unfortunately for Ronnie. However I think he could really hang his hat on improved route running and technique to make him faster in and out of breaks to gain that separation he could use.

I have a feeling Bell is going to do quite well in the NFL. Still can't believe some fans on here thought he shouldn't even been drafted and wasn't an NFL WR. Also talking about Mazi, Dallas lives him and he is tearing it up in practice and Micah Parsons thinks he is going to be All Pro some day. Still think the Lions should have drafted those 2 guys.
