Brad Pitt is an exceptional actor who has a few movies I can’t stand. Top of list is Joe Black.
I love Joe Black! Mostly because of Anthony Hopkins and the sweet Irish actress Clair Forlani.
She's English but eminently watchable!
I might be misremembering, but she did a Whiskey commercial a while back which, along with her accent, made me think Irish.
She can be whatever she wants.
Agree Brad Pitt is usually great. I loved Joe Black and many of his other pictures. Babylon on the other hand is maybe the worst movie I've ever seen.
Russia House- Sean Connery
Wing Commander - Freddie Prinze Jr and Matthew Lillard
Draft Day - Jennifer Garner
The Russia House is a great flick, but Connery was all wrong for Barley Blair.
Honor is due!
Going with the Bond theme, Daniel Craig in Knives out 1 or 2
Edward Norton. The French Dispatch.
Stallone in the movie Driven.
Harrison Ford, Temple of Doom
John Ritter, Problem Child
Really? I love that movie!! Michael Richards is hilarious in that.
The kid just drove me crazy. Only movie I ever walked out of.
(I would have walked out of Interview with a Vampire too if I wasn't on an all-too-rare date.)
John Ritter and John Candy are the two actors I miss the most.
Candy in Spaceballs is Barf
Loved the show 8 Simple Rules that Ritter was in.
His wardrobe on that show was fantastic.
There was a great episode where his daughter goes to an OSU house party and Ritter calls her and her ringtone for him is the Victors. Now that's comedy.
That movie is hard to watch, but the Gilbert Gottfried scenes redeem it somewhat
Hovering Around Uranus
Jenna Jameson
Yes, but the sequel! Wow!!
Amiright???
Joe Pesci did a slapstick comedy in the 90's called "Gone Fishin' ". Might be the stupidest movie I've ever seen
"Hey, Phil!"
Damn! I thought that one was borderline 11!
Oh my God yes, Danny Glover too. I don't think I ever cracked a smile, much less laughed
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is an easy one for me cause I just rewatched it. Great actors in it include, but are not limited to, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, and Lupita Nyong'o.
Also, adding after the initial post:
- Tom Hardy in Venom.
- Matt Damon in Elysium.
- Danny DeVito in the live-action Dumbo.
Venom being a quasi-comedy never sat well with me. Hardy could've been ok if they went dark.
Bridges of Madison County, couldn't watch a Clint Eastwood movie for years after that stinker
Not even Paint Your Wagon?
He cast himself in that which was the problem.
I love just about everything Denzel Washington touches, but somehow can't stand "He Got Game".... 2 Guns either, but the Marky Mark effect made me biased to hate that one from jump.
Wondering if Denzel would make this list.
First movie that came to mind for me was Denzel Washington in Out of Time. Yikes.
But love him overall.

That's perfect. My wife and I have started watching every movie of Denzel Washington's just like we did with Clint Eastwood. Most of them are pretty good, even the early ones where, like Clint Eastwood, his craft was well beneath his charisma.
But Out of Time was one movie that once it wrapped we both thought was stupid.
Michael Keaton, Birdman
EDIT: also, Val Kilmer, The Doors
Birdman was like being kicked in the crotch: at first you feel nothing, then you're in massive pain that only half the audience empathizes with and finally you wince whenever you remember it.
Curious, why did you hate The Doors movie? The misleading portrayal of Jim Morrison? My wife and I went to LA last September and saw Robby Krieger at The Whiskey a Go Go. It was one of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had. It helps that I’m a big fan of The Doors.
For personal reasons actually. Was absolutely crazy about this girl, we rented it from Blockbuster, along with a gross out Farrelly brothers comedy.
The night would've gone sooo much better if we had watched Kingpin.
Heartbreak Ridge / Clint Eastwood
But he took a handful of young firepissers, exercised some personal initiative and kicked ass!
Jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft is not a natural act. So let's do it right, enjoy the view. Come on.
I remember not liking the Cable Guy when it came out. It has an amazing cast when you look at it now, Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick were the headliners but also Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Bob Odenkirk, etc. Probably should give it another chance.
Ohhhh, Billy!!!!
Damn, I Love Cable Guy. The Password is Cli.....
It’s just skin, Stephen….
Love the Cable Guy
Freaking love the Cable Guy. Interesting little factoid about that movie:
Chris Farley was originally slated to be the Cable Guy, but he unfortunately died before they could start filming so they had to roll with Carrey.
Shadowlands with (Sir) Anthony Hopkins.
Saw it in a movie theatre with my girlfriend not that long after the magnificent Silence of the Lambs. We saw it specifically because Anthony Hopkins was in it.
We both fell asleep within 15 minutes and slept soundly until the lights came up.
To this day, I have no idea what it was about.
