Will Corum injury affect playoff seeding?

So with the tragic news of Corum's season ending surgery, how will the playoff committee view UM without their best player?  The committee has said previously that they take injuries into account in their ranking.  Any chance his injury causes us to drop even if we beat Purdue?

Hell no. And especially not with a fully weaponized JJ. Not to mention this team relied on Blake but they truly are a team that is bigger than the sum of it's parts. Time to man up and kick ass.

I dont think corum injury is as significant as people are making it. Our Oline has been stellar and Edwards is more than capable of carrying the load. He will be the starter next season so why not prepare for it now i guess. Feel bad for Corum hes a good kid who had a shot at the Heisman. Sigh

Nope. Edwards is a dude, and next year we'll be banging the Heisman drum for him. Playoffs could be an incredible coming out party for him on a national stage.

Why waste time on such a silly inquiry.  Blake hasn’t played for a game and a half.  He won’t be playing Saturday and we will beat the spread again.  So you really think his continuing absence should or will be a factor?  Scoreboard, baby.

Take care of business on Saturday and we're still number 2. We won by 22 at #2 w/o the guy. The bummer could be having to beat Georgia w/o Blake. Edwards is "The Don" but we really need that 2nd back getting 10 carries for 40+ yards to make this offense go. We won't get many easy TDs vs. Georgia's D like we did vs. Knowles.
