Looks like Metallica... Sounds like Metallica... Oh... Hell Yes!
November 28th, 2022 at 10:24 AM ^
What is interesting is that they are getting closer to their earliest music with their last two albums which is not typical of most bands that need to reinvent or simply change. This sounds pretty, pretty good

I look forward to pirating this whole album just to stick it to Metallica. Napster says "hello".

Nice. Perfect for the road trip to Indy.

Am I allowed to watch that without paying for it?

Awesome. Metallica is going back to their roots and I'm here for it.

New Metallica has been a dangerous thing to try since the early 90's

Truth. Last GREAT album was, "And Justice For All".

That’s the fastest Lar’s feet have been in a long time.

Those aren’t his feet. Dude lost it years ago.

We'll see how it sounds live.

Sounds like something that would have been on Master of Puppets album. Great song!
November 28th, 2022 at 11:09 AM ^
I personally thinks it sounds more like Kill 'em All, which is reeeeeeally going back.
November 28th, 2022 at 12:14 PM ^
That white V... that was his guitar during the Kill 'em All days until he found those Explorer models. Hell yeah.
November 28th, 2022 at 1:16 PM ^
Yeah, the lead riff sounds like a Megadeth song (the higher up the fret board chord type riff), so it definitely has Kill 'Em All vibes. Definitely not Master of Puppets.
Pretty good. I appreciate it is under 4 minutes --- fast and hard (that's what she said)

Just came across this myself. Absolute WTF moment, in a great way.

"Delete this"

Just set some Michigan highlights to it please
November 28th, 2022 at 12:38 PM ^
Meh, kinda repetitive if you ask me. But still a decent song.

So they've officially announced a date next November at Ford Field with PAN - FUCKING - TERA. I know it's not the same Pantera, but god damn it will be awesome to hear those songs again!!!
November 28th, 2022 at 1:06 PM ^
I always insert "FUCKING" in there too, just feels right.
November 28th, 2022 at 4:01 PM ^
If there is anyone that can fill in for Dime it's Zakk Wylde. That said I'm more concerned about Phil's voice. Down had been iffy for awhile now he's going to try Pantera songs again -- hope it sounds good!

Hetfield really trimmed down. Getting into tour shape it seems like. And that's one of Kirk's better solos in a long while I think.

He got divorced. Maybe that caused him to re-examine how he was (or wasn't) taking care of himself.
November 28th, 2022 at 1:13 PM ^
Tickets on sale for the tour THIS FRIDAY! That is some crazy advance planning!
November 28th, 2022 at 1:20 PM ^
Only if you're buying tickets to both concerts; single day tickets don't go on sale for another few months. So prepare to set aside something like at least $500 for two for the "cheap" seats.

Metallica sucks.

Michigan win vs. osu on Saturday and new Metallica on Monday
