Calling all insiders: Joe Milton Instagram post
Joe Milton just posted a Michigan highlight video with the caption, “keep thinking it’s over”
any info or rumblings? We already have our guy for the next few years in JJ.
My over under for ‘bEcAUzZ hE d0nT haZ UT hIGhlitZ’ is 12. Ole miss over under is 14.
Hopefully this doesn’t descend into absolute chaos.

Say what?
I see the video. I see what he wrote. I still don't know what it means.
To be fair, the only video he would have that approaches a “highlight” is in a Michigan jersey. He can’t put together a montage of 25 overthrows in a TN uni and call it a “Highlight”.
This right here. He's probably just saying he can still play and he's got more to prove on the field. Not at all saying he's going back to Michigan. The majority of his playing time has been at Michigan, that's all.
Milton Highlight TD on Saturday night prime time throwing pick 6 to Wisconsin DB, hitting him in the numbers with no Michigan receiver in the TV screeen
For added context, Milton also included yawning emotes and Vincent Gray responded with fire emotes. Now...have at it...
You honestly don't think he is coming back to Michigan right? No chance in hell.
Well, Joe could pay us NIL money. Evidently we could use it.
I think he's just advertising himself for the next team that he transfers to. 0% chance Michigan would have anything to do with that.
This^
Yeah this seems pretty obvious to me. He ain't starting at UT, so he's gonna find another school to try and take a chance on him, which he has every right to do. And given his skills (barring accuracy), there's likely a lower level school which would love to have that cannon on campus.
But it clearly won't be Michigan again
Does it mean he just overthrew another wide open, downfield receiver by a good 10 yards?
It means he probably got hit by a mustard bottle.
Or ran out of bounds on 4th down with no time on the clock?
He would be 5th string at Michigan maybe on his best day right now.
In his defense, at least Tacopants put up All Big Ten numbers with Milton out there
make it good 12 yards as the receivers in small programs are not as fast.
might just be a guy who everyone has written off sharing that he thinks he can still be a college quarterback as he fights for a starting job?
Cyan would be too good for him.
He's in his 5th year now.
He's not a quarterback.
🤷♂️
I think he was listening to Bruce Springsteen "Glory Days," got a little weepy, then overreacted on social media. Which of us has never done this?
I hope this never happens to me, but it probably will.
Probably more than you think.
Hassan Haskins' jam was likely "Thunder Road", Denard's was obviously "Born to Run", Vincent Gray bopped to "Cover Me", David Long liked "Brilliant Disguise", and CJ Carr's was literally any other Springsteen song that wasn't "My Hometown"
For that matter, I'm guessing, based on his pocket prescence, that Joe Milton's fave Springsteen jam is "Dancing in the Dark"
Is our NIL Program, “Wreck on the Highway’, “Lost in the Flood”, “Your Own Worst Enemy”, “Loose Change”?
Or he might've been listening to Countin' On A Miracle
I hate "Glory Days" with every fiber of my being, so this is unlikely to happen to me.
"Glory Days" video was shot in tiny club in Hoboken called Maxwell's. Saw the Struts there there a few years ago. Sadly is gone now. Think it's a seafood restaurant now.
Slight TMI but I remember that song coming out around my nascent teenage years and thinking "Yeah, the redhead with the tambourine can get it" Turns out that Bruce and I have something in common, besides a misplaced affinity for Cleveland.
Additional cool story bro: I'm four degrees from The Boss! My friend's wife is a purchasing agent for animal shows/pet products and has met Springsteen's daughter through her work, since Jessica Springsteen is an Olympic equestrian
I have no idea but Ronnie Bell commented “need it” twice. I’ve got $20 for whoever gets the IG name TacoPants and responds “I’m open 🔥”
It’s well known that Milton is very very charismatic and was a great leader. His teammates and the coaches love him. I can see where old teammates want him to do well in his next phase. Unfortunately to date despite his athletic qualities his arm accuracy hasn’t developed and his throwing motion is looooong.
As I’ve always said, you just can’t teach leadership, charisma or athleticism. But accuracy and throwing motion? Those can be improved through hard work, good coaching and relegation to an SEC bottom feeder.
very very charismatic and was a great leader.
Huh? Must've missed that part of his career?
He was one of the most charismatic players on the team. Genuinely don't know how good of a leader he was though.
Charismatic - how? Not shitting on the kid but I really can’t remember anything noteworthy other than that opening Minny game a couple years ago that anyone would define as “charismatic”. Seemed super quiet for a leader and as WW said below, he didn’t leave on graceful terms. He had potential for sure but just couldn’t sync his physical gifts with the mental dexterity needed to be a starting QB at a top B1G program.
Just saying I think there are more accurate adjectives I would use than what’s being coined above.
Pretty sure he took some shots at Michigan on his way out the door. He can eat a grogan.
Joe Milton highlight video is about as long as John O’Korn highlight video.
We'll always have Purdue and Minnesota.
I upvoted you, but it was only because of your avatar.
I went to that Purdue game. Okorn played excellent for one half
Almost forgot O'Korn on purpose. You know, he was a mystery fail-he was good in his first year at Houston both in stats and highlight reel for a freshman. Then nothing.
We would have beat Sparty in 2017 had he been able to connect on a pass. Any pass. He had about a dozen opportunities to win that game
O'Korn never said a bad thing about Michigan and gave everything he could to win games. Watch his post-game press conference after the OSU game. That dude wanted it so bad. He never performed like we hoped in many games but the dude is a Michigan Man.
Michigan didn't lose that game because of O'Korn. In fact, had J.T. Barrett not gone down, I think O'Korn wins that game. Instead, some guy named Dwayne Haskins comes in and Ryan Day proceeds to carve up Don Brown's defense.
And not for the last time, alas.
Were either of these dimes hitting #4 in stride part of the clip?
Horseshoes and hand grenades.
I think it was a Volunteer beat writer or someone on one of their boards who said something like “Milton is going to throw for 4,000 yards. Only 2,000 of those will be from a completion, but the ball will travel 4,000 yards.”
Okay that was funny.
Oh My God that's a touchdown! ....no :(
