Khaleke the freak benches more than any other LB
30 reps!! Dude is an ox (sorry for ugly link)
February 28th, 2020 at 10:07 PM ^
Man those are full reps too. I’ve watched a lot of these over the last few days and half of these guys are barely going down and then coming right back up.
February 29th, 2020 at 7:59 AM ^
Yeah, it was funny to see the spotter start his usual "lock it out" routine and then realize Hudson was doing each full rep and just started encouraging the crowd.
February 28th, 2020 at 10:21 PM ^
That's impressive. Plenty of linebackers weigh 10 or 15lbs heavier than him but he puts up the most reps. Good shit.

4 more reps than known steroid user, Joe Bachie.

So our guys are all strong and excelling in those categories, which is great. Still looking for that SEC speed from our strength and conditioning program though.
February 28th, 2020 at 10:30 PM ^
Still looking for big road wins from our head coach.
February 28th, 2020 at 10:35 PM ^
Man you are now the champion negative Nancy of this board. Lots of competition but I think you deserve the title.
February 28th, 2020 at 10:42 PM ^
Odd that stating a fact is considered being negative. We truly do have almost NO good road wins, yes we have road wins, but not against many teams that were good at the end of the year.
February 28th, 2020 at 10:57 PM ^
Welcome to mgoblog now. Most around here do not seem to like the truth it seems.
February 28th, 2020 at 11:02 PM ^
I think its deemed as excessively negative because the post has nothing to do with road wins. Its about the combine and bench presses
February 28th, 2020 at 11:06 PM ^
Difficult road games of the Harbaugh era:
2015
Utah-L
Penn St?-W
2016
Iowa-L
OSU-L
2017
Penn St-L
Wisconsin-L
2018
Notre Dame-L
MSU-W
OSU-L
2019
Wisconsin-L
Penn St-L
That puts us at 2-9 in our biggest road games under Harbaugh. Those two wins are a Noon start vs a Hackenberg led Penn St team, and an MSU team who had a QB who couldn’t hit the broadside of the barn. Facts are facts. Throw in 4 bowl losses which makes us 2-4 in neutral field games with both wins being over Shark Humper.
February 29th, 2020 at 1:21 AM ^
What does road wins have to do w this thread?
Not a goddamn thing...hence true or not its just more negative bs.
Bingo? Would you trade those reps to beat OSU?

It is a sign of good mental health to constantly brood over something when you have no abiity to resolve the matter and don't have any practical ideas on how it can be resolved. Leads to a happy, well adjusted personality.
February 29th, 2020 at 12:09 AM ^
I never claimed to be happy, well adjusted or mentally well.
I am a Michigan fan after all.
February 29th, 2020 at 12:11 AM ^
Sorry. It's been a rough week.
February 29th, 2020 at 8:50 AM ^
He's not wrong. Our best road win is against who? #24 ranked MSU in 2018?
February 29th, 2020 at 11:19 AM ^
Nah. West div champion NW is better than a not great MSU.
February 29th, 2020 at 2:57 AM ^
That's why we need to hire Matt Rhea away from Windiana.
February 28th, 2020 at 10:26 PM ^
Man I hope Khaleke makes some money in the league! Such a good dude.
February 29th, 2020 at 1:07 AM ^
Hey was one of the few players who gave a damn at the bowl game against Florida. Always loved him for that
February 28th, 2020 at 10:40 PM ^
Hopefully that will help him get drafted. He doesn't have the rosiest draft profile from the nfl.com combine website due to his lack of a natural position. He received a score of 5.46 which falls in between "Priority free agent" and "Chance to make end of roster or practice squad".

Overview
Undersized safety turned linebacker who summons toughness and spunk to counterbalance his lack of traits. The production has been fairly impressive in two of the last three seasons, but he's quicker than fast and his range is limited. Hudson's lack of size shows up near the line of scrimmage and he's not as sticky in coverage as he needs to be. His talent for blocking punts should garner attention, but may not be enough to overcome deficiencies at linebacker or safety.
Strengths
- Robust production in 2017 included 17.5 TFLs and eight sacks
- Commendable toughness against consistently bigger foes
- Early run diagnosis triggers race to beat blockers to the spot
- Downhill flow into the gaps looking for work
- Sees gaps develop in blocking scheme and fits them downhill
- Tremendous burst out of his stance as punt blocker
- Twitchy, short-area change of direction in space
- Adequate balance in coverage
- Instant get-off in race to the punter
- Finished career with five blocked punts
Weaknesses
- Got mauled by Army's rushing attack
- His GPS sends him to heavily trafficked areas
- Frequently pinballed around by blockers
- Hip tightness and short strides prevent recoveries against bounce-wide runs
- Has to work overtime to pull away from blocks
- Lacks length and pattern anticipation for man coverage
- Needs abundance of steps to close downhill from his drops
- Average response time to what he sees in zone

Unfortunately the bench press doesn’t disprove any of those issues. He still can’t stand up to offensive linemen in the run game and still isn’t fluid or fast enough to be great against the pass which leaves him as essentially a useless piece in the nfl
February 28th, 2020 at 11:15 PM ^
I mean, sure, but playing special teams on an NFL roster ain’t so bad. Even on league minimum salary. Lano Hill is having a solid type of career in that sense
Heard Cesar is having a great start as well.

- Tremendous burst out of his stance as punt blocker
is listed as a strength, huh? I’d trade staying onside for some of that burst.

STFU troll

I’d trade you for a half eaten candy bar.

Nice job Leke. Hope he lands on a roster. Helps not to have super long arms. Good luck

Built like a bowling ball...ideal build for weightlifting.
