Hudson took a shit on the floor on his way out the door. Screw him.
January 2nd, 2020 at 9:45 PM ^
big if poo
January 2nd, 2020 at 6:51 PM ^
I guess it is true people really do find ways to feel sorry for themselves. We are fine without him
January 2nd, 2020 at 6:53 PM ^
meh.
January 2nd, 2020 at 6:53 PM ^
Why should we feel bad? Is it clear midway through one game he is so much better than Runyan, Mayfield, and Hayes?
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:04 PM ^
We should feel bad because you can’t win against the best teams if you don’t have depth. That should be crystal clear by now. Shit happens during the course of a season and it’d be nice if the 2020 2-deep included guys like Hudson, Anthony, Muhammad, Solomon, Singleton, Woods, St Juste, etc.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:08 PM ^
I don't think we lost yesterday because Hudson's ass wasn't on the bench.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:34 PM ^
Never said we lost yesterday because of Hudson. But before you assume that roster attrition of highly regarded players doesn’t play a role in our underperformance you might take a closer look at how we finish games and seasons over the past 5 years. Pro tip: it ain’t pretty.
January 2nd, 2020 at 9:08 PM ^
So how much additional depth did we need to beat Bama?
January 3rd, 2020 at 8:51 AM ^
At least two more DT that could rotate in and plug holes.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:21 PM ^
It’s almost as if depth players will look elsewhere for a chance to start!
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:37 PM ^
He didn't want to be here
January 2nd, 2020 at 6:53 PM ^
OP: You posted this content as a dong punch to the board?
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:09 PM ^
Is that different angles of the same dong punch or does the ref just keep letting it happen in the same fight? Crazy!
Oh, and I don’t give a shit about Hudson.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:24 PM ^
Your Holiness, language!
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:56 PM ^
They look like different hits to me, not different angles of the same dong punch. That dude is a dong punching extraordinaire.
January 2nd, 2020 at 6:57 PM ^
And Runyan looked better
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:01 PM ^
Some people aren’t happy being miserable. So they try and share it. It doesn’t work. Congrats to Big James.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:15 PM ^
I hope you're referring to the OP here....
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:20 PM ^
Of course. Who else?
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:01 PM ^
Is this a joke? You must be his buddy, or related to him, to write something as stupid as that.....
He wasn't patient, and would have been a two year starter... good riddance... don't need players like him or his stupid parents who encouraged it.
And yes, I said STUPID parents..... the stupid parents and stupid player demand he play before he earns it or ready for it, and its the coaches who do the right thing by the player and hold him accountable, despite the detriment in future. That is what MSU does.... really... like the kid they take out of jail and bring him straight to the field....
January 3rd, 2020 at 11:18 AM ^
His mom was the only influence he had in this and she was not supportive of the transfer. It was all James.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:02 PM ^
It looks like Mayfield, Hayes, and maybe Stueber all have a more than average shot at being better than him.
I am not that concerned about the OL right now (wow that felt weird to say)
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:06 PM ^
Our OL is good now, and they've earned it....... they did quite well vs OSU, and very well vs Alabama.
January 2nd, 2020 at 11:25 PM ^
Warinner is doing a great job. I was very pleased with how Mayfield held up against Chase Young.
January 2nd, 2020 at 11:27 PM ^
Replacing the entire interior should be interesting though. Ruiz coming back would be nice.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:04 PM ^
What a fucking stupid post.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:35 PM ^
Eat a dick Sal.
January 2nd, 2020 at 8:00 PM ^
Glad James Hudson's family still reads MgoBlog
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:05 PM ^
Good for James. I hope he is happy.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:12 PM ^
if we could get QB play to match the OL in front of them.....
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:12 PM ^
I wish him a long and healthy career!
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:21 PM ^
Why? OL is a bright spot. We don’t need him.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:35 PM ^
I would love it if our most talented players panned out to be the best fit at UM. Unfortunately that has not happened at as high of a rate as we would wish and Hudson is just another example. Good luck to him, but he wasn't right for UM, so be it.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:44 PM ^
What evidence do you have that Hudson was one of our most talented OL?
January 3rd, 2020 at 6:55 AM ^
I never said he was our most talented OL. I said many of our most talented guys have not panned out. Some examples are Solomon, Singleton, Black, Asasi, Anthony, Martin, Peters, Walker, Crawford, etc. Those are a bunch of guys from the top half of the 2016 and 2017 classes. Hudson is another example of that. It doesn't mean he's our most talented OL.
January 3rd, 2020 at 8:38 AM ^
How are you defining talent? Most of those guys have gone elsewhere and done very little. It was clear that their "rating" level was not the same as their "talent" level. It happens at every level.
And most of those guys on your list I wish well, moved on to better situations in a very classy manner. Hudson and Solomon are another matter entirely.
January 3rd, 2020 at 10:20 AM ^
How are you defining talent?
Recruiting rankings
It was clear that their "rating" level was not the same as their "talent" level.
Agreed, when I say "talented" I'm really saying our higher ranked recruits. Maybe the problem is more evaluation or recruiting instead? But, many of our top recruits have not panned out.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:39 PM ^
Okay, but how is Aubrey Solomon looking in the Gator Bowl tonight?
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:52 PM ^
Like shit. Haha
January 3rd, 2020 at 7:02 AM ^
Kemp had a better statistical year than Solomon, but that doesn't tell the whole story. I didn't watch any of Tennessee's games, so I'm not sure if fared better as a space eater than Kemp. But, statistically we didn't miss him. I wonder if he would have helped against Wiscy & OSU.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:57 PM ^
Arent you the same guy who was pushing the skene podcast where he was shitting on players about effort?
And now youre crying about the loss of a player who didnt want to put in the effort?
Yeah, ill pass.
Good for hudson. Im not feeling bad about anything but the stipidity of this op though.
January 2nd, 2020 at 7:58 PM ^
Pretty easy to look good against a shit team like Boston College.
January 2nd, 2020 at 8:20 PM ^
Oh he's playing LT? Go figure.
January 2nd, 2020 at 9:55 PM ^
Looks like he got over the depression of not playing DT.
January 3rd, 2020 at 8:40 AM ^
He is young.. might set in again. And racism on campus might still come to columbus.. who would believe that??
January 2nd, 2020 at 9:26 PM ^
I guess I don’t understand why he can play this game but not the regular season. Anyone know why that is ok?
January 2nd, 2020 at 9:42 PM ^
Because he transferred during the fall semester of 2018 and this game is technically occurring during the winter semester of 2020..? That would be my guess. You see this a lot in basketball because the season spans both semesters.
January 2nd, 2020 at 9:44 PM ^
You have a man crush on James Hudson?
January 2nd, 2020 at 10:21 PM ^
Can Hudson throw the deep ball? If so, I will weep inconsolably with you.
