One Frame At A Time: Indiana
Unbelievable catch. Understated flex.
[Hit THE JUMP for an aerial assault.]
The Full Album
The Top 15
15. Mesmerizing Jacket Guy
14. Uche Destroys Jet
13. As Much of the Two-Point Conversion As ESPN Showed
12. Absolute Mashing
11. The Flexing Series: DPJ, Collins, Uche
10. Big Ten Dad of the Week
When editing out the logo feels wrong.
9. Dax Diving in the Distance
You can get a better view of Dax Hill intercepting the pass here, but I prefer this view featuring the pressure by Carlo Kemp and Aidan Hutchinson, plus Hill peeling off his coverage when he sees the ball go up.
8. Slant and Gone
On the plus side for Indiana, nobody got Mossed, I guess?
7. Indiana Football Dot Gif
I missed this live and laughed out loud when seeing it upon rewatch. As a bonus, purple coat kid Mutombos the hell out of red coat kid.
6. Play to the Whistle
You can actually see the offense start to walk on the field if you watch the upper left corner.
A sea of entirely reasonable reactions.
5. Uche Hat Trick
Not sure if I feel worse for Peyton Ramsey or the left tackle.
4. Three! Three Touchdowns! Ah. Ah. Ah.
Lovely throw and catch. DPJ counting his buddy's touchdowns moves this up several spots.
3. Testing the Wind
You can question some of the calls but you cannot question the form here.
2. The Mossing
Like challenging peak Vince Carter at the rim, you can go up for it, but you know chances are high you're about to end up on the wrong side of a highlight.

I'd like to personally thank #14 on IU for blocking for DMac on the 2pt conversion.

“Uche Destroys Jet” is my favorite.
Makes total sense: let’s leave a man unguarded so that we can take advantage of a double-team elsewhere on the field.
Makes no sense: let’s leave a man unguarded, then run the ball straight at him to see what he does next.

You won’t believe what he does next!

That DPJ catch is just stupid. In slow motion you can see how far he travels horizontally. Being able to see that ball, jump, and know that you'll cover the right amount of ground is ridiculous.

And secure the ball on the way down while you're at it. Great stuff.

DPJ catch was nothing short of AMAZING! While the Desmond Howard catch vs. nd was also amazing and more important for the outcome of the game, this IMHO was slightly better as he is in essence flying thru the air ON HIS BACK and makes a stellar catch!!!

had Desmond caught the 1990 2 point ball/non-holding/PI with his hands like DPJ did here we win that game.
outstanding catch by Donovan Peoples-Jones he deserves his name spelled out for that catch.

To be fair, Desmond was blatantly tripped.

Anyone else think of Inglorious Basterds when DPJ put up that #3 for Nico Collins?
November 25th, 2019 at 3:39 PM ^
No, but I did every time Mo Wagner put up the German three instead of the English three.

haha, Yes!

Play to the whistle!

The team is playing at a super high level right now on both sides and ST. They have a legit shot at OSU. I hope to see a win but my BPONE gnaws at my soul for sure.

DPJ, Collins, Black, and Bell should not leave the field on Saturday. Well, maybe for some cool plays for Jackson or Sainristril in space.
Make OSU chase them all game.

It's funny, I used to play against a shorter corner, and would say I was "mossing" him

Watch "Play to the whistle" again. The ref has an absolutely perfect view of Giles Jackson with both knees and both elbows and probably his nuts on the ground, and yet does not blow the whistle. I mean... what the actual fuck was he looking at?!?

That DPJ catch is just dirty. Full extension as he's rotating. Coverage is great too. That's one we'll remember for a while
November 25th, 2019 at 6:37 PM ^
DPJ's catch reminds me of Marquise Walker at Iowa.
November 26th, 2019 at 12:28 PM ^
Yeah, I thought of that one immediately.

Love all these frames. Wish I could vote for all of them.
GO BLUE ??
Beat ohio!!!!

DPJ catch is a thing of beauty, but the slant to Nico was also something we have been looking for from this offense as well. Great game to watch. Want to see some of this coming against the luckeyes.
Go Blue!!

MGo50yearOld here: I’ve watched the 2pt half a clip 50 times — how does McCaffrey get the ball? Just the three of them over there with the ball, or quickly pitched out to him, or what the hell just happened? (As I’m sure IU players saying as well.)
November 25th, 2019 at 10:26 PM ^
hard to say but it looked like they went with some crazy unbalanced formation with just a couple guys near the ball and some other dudes on the line of scrimmage but way off to the opposite side. you can see someone stand up and start waving his hand as if to sell a pass here. Seems eitehr way they wanted Indiana to think they were going for 2, but assuming a pass. Then they just run the opposite direction from all of that and hoped they'd get numbers or get to the edge with their gazelle-like backup QB.

This one was really no contest - there are a few good ones but DPJ's TD is out of this world.

Cass Tech DPJ last week followed by Cirque du DPJ this week. Extreme athleticism on full display.
