Braylon is sorry for his 1 year old tweet bashing Shea and Ruiz and is selling a book
Freep link:
The book is co-written (well, probably just written) by Tom VH.
Let the Braylon bashing/defending begin!

Don't you mean OOOOOHHHHHHH YEAAAAAAHHHHHH!
September 6th, 2019 at 3:47 PM ^
This is why we need points to count again. This was a great reply and you should be rewarded for it! :)
September 6th, 2019 at 4:27 PM ^
I heard a rumor coming from Schemmy hall that points will be temporarily turned off during Football season.

Dont you mean “It's got corn for crunch, oats for punch, and it stays crunchy, even in milk.”
Am i doing this right?
September 6th, 2019 at 1:26 PM ^
Yeah, this is the appropriate response. The only thing I need to know is if he is finally on the wagon.
September 6th, 2019 at 2:46 PM ^
Does it really matter?
September 6th, 2019 at 5:58 PM ^
Yes. The man was an All American here. He mattered. He matters. He’s a Wolverine. I, for one, am rooting for him to mature and take care of what I believe are some personal demons related to substance issues.
September 6th, 2019 at 10:39 PM ^
Please. He’s a typical gifted athlete that thinks because he was bigger and faster than everyone else that he is also smarter, more important, and should be worshipped. He’s had plenty of time to mature and doesn’t deserve anyone’s benefit of the doubt until he actually changes. He drops stupid comments like he used to drop balls.
September 7th, 2019 at 2:05 AM ^
In his defense he was bigger and faster than everyone else.

Michigan Role Model?
Legal issues[edit]
Edwards has often been in trouble with the law as he has been pulled over seven times from 2002 to 2010 for speeding violations,[16] the most recent of which was in October 2008 when he was pulled over for driving 120 mph in a 65 mph zone.[17]
Two days before being traded to the New York Jets, on October 5, 2009, Edwards reportedly punched Edward Givens, a local party promoter, in the face at 2:30 A.M. outside of the View Ultralounge & Nightclub.[18] Givens, who is an acquaintance of LeBron James, alleged that Edwards was jealous of James' success thus prompting Edwards' attack. This prompted James to call the incident "childish."[18] On October 26, 2009, Edwards was charged with misdemeanor assault[18] and later plead no contest to the charge of aggravated assault on January 12, 2010.[19] Edwards was given a suspended 180-day jail sentence, was fined $1,000 and placed on inactive probation.[19] Though Edwards offered no explanation or apology for his actions, he reportedly regretted the entire ordeal according to his lawyer.[19] The NFL did not suspend Edwards for his actions.[20]
On September 21, 2010, Edwards was arrested on a drunken driving charge in New York early in the morning.[17] He was originally pulled over for having excessively tinted windows on his Range Rover.[17] Police smelled alcohol on Edwards who blew 0.16—twice the legal limit.[17] He was arrested on a DUI charge.[17] He is still on probation for the altercation that occurred in October 2009.[17]
In October 2013, Braylon was accused of physically assaulting a man who had videoed Edwards fighting in the street earlier in the evening with an unknown man. The photographer said he was approached by Edwards who demanded the video be deleted and when the photographer refused and started to walk away, Braylon grabbed the photographers ankles from behind and lifted them up, causing the photographer's face to strike the pavement and then followed up by slamming him into the side of a car on the street. When approached by the media Braylon Edwards' representatives denied the incident, claiming the story was concocted in a shameless attempt to "take Braylon's money."
The next day TMZ presented video footage showing the incident taking place as the victim had described.[21]

The rest is bad, but I'm certain I have had more speeding tickets in any eight year span than Braylon. 1985 to 1989 was particularly high for me with velocity taxes. Braylon does have me beat on top speed associated with a speeding ticket. Mine was 105 in a 55 though the nice state trooper marked it as 70.
September 6th, 2019 at 3:51 PM ^
Assuming you're trying to run over koalas from driving that quickly. That many tickets? I didn't koalas were that fast. Are you sure you're doing it right?
September 6th, 2019 at 5:12 PM ^
The 105 in a 55 was Dec 31, 1986. Nice Arizona State Trooper recorded it as 70 so I didn't have to go to jail (his speeding fine schedule only went up to 100 mph).
I know I had 4 in 1987.
Two from the same cop on different days on the beltway around Baltimore.
"Captain, how have you been?"
"Been well, Officer. How fast was I today?"
In the 80s, the states weren't talking to each other about speeding tickets (velocity taxes) so you didn't get points for speeding in MD if you had a PA license. Nor did your insurance company ding you as they relied on your driving record as detailed by the state that issued the license.
Actually you drive slow when running down Koalas. It's builds the suspense and the little guys can't get out of the way as much as they try as they partially live in some slow motion dimension.
September 6th, 2019 at 9:00 PM ^
Jeez, and I thought I was bad doing 87 in a 65 a couple of weeks ago trying to get the hell out of the Denver airport. That's like 4 points and a $300 fine here. Plus 20 over is a mandatory court appearance. The cop was super cool. Knocked it down to 5 over which is 1 point (yay insurance) and a $100 fine.
September 6th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
Agreed! (And 138 in a 70. Luckily it was back in the early 70s and the fine was only a little over $100. There were extenuating circumstances.)
September 6th, 2019 at 5:19 PM ^
138? Nice!
You are still alive.
My friend called it, "Vehicular Darwinism". Those who were smart, had good depth perception and had good hand to eye coordination survived. Those who didn't, well, you know.
September 7th, 2019 at 2:08 AM ^
Depending how you look at it your “Vehicular Darwinism” either greatly improved or diminished the Fast and the Furious franchise.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:06 PM ^
But did he apologize?
September 6th, 2019 at 1:09 PM ^
He said "sorry not sorry."
I wish I could take back adding the kids in there. With that being said, everything I said, I felt. And I still stand on that.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:10 PM ^
I finished the book a couple days ago. Honestly, I felt like some of his thoughts were explained well and I think he was represented poorly at times. And he did apologize for some things. But there's really no great explanation for a lot of his antics; a lot of them were just childish.
But if any of us had to explain all of our behaviors from childhood/teen years to adulthood, I'm guessing there would be embarrassing moments. I think the disappointing thing with Edwards is that he's carried over some of those things into his 30s that a lot of people stopped doing a long time ago.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:32 PM ^
Was listening to local sports radio over here in Seattle, former player said that NFLers don't become adults until 5-10 years out of the league (backstory ... he was talking about AB circus show)
Braylon is getting close to the 10 year mark :)
September 6th, 2019 at 3:05 PM ^
Twitter has messed up a few lives. Wait, is it Twitter, or the idiot that thinks they have the most enlightening thing to say that's the problem. People should stop feeling the need to share every thought they have with the masses.
September 6th, 2019 at 4:50 PM ^
Doesn't saying Braylon and childish together seem a bit redundant and unnecessary?
September 6th, 2019 at 1:11 PM ^
I guess Tom VH no longer has time to hold me.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:12 PM ^
So he’s sober. OK
September 6th, 2019 at 1:13 PM ^
I wish I didn’t name names but I stand by my words.
That’s...not...an apology. Sorry, but Braylon has shown his ass too many times to give him any kind of pass or benefit of the doubt. Loved him as a player, but I really don’t want to hear from him anymore. He’s a bit of an embarrassment to Michigan.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:17 PM ^
I'm not the first one to point this out, but I think it's noteworthy that on the cover of the book, the picture is of him standing OUTSIDE the gates to Michigan Stadium.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:27 PM ^
I certainly don’t think Jim cares for him. I certainly don’t think anyone on the team or staff cares for him. I really can’t see him ever having a meaningful relationship with the program again, unless we hire a HC that played with him way down the line. It’s unfortunate, but he’s behaved himself into just another drunk fan in the stands.
September 6th, 2019 at 2:30 PM ^
Jim signed him as a FA with the 49'ers
September 6th, 2019 at 2:59 PM ^
...and it did not end well.
September 6th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
Outside of Jim, I don't think anyone on the staff knows him, but the outside the gates thing is just to sell books.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:28 PM ^
When you show your ass, they don't let you in the stadium. You're forced to watch the game in an undisclosed location with Marcus Ray.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:33 PM ^
How far are we from an Info Wars like network for Michigan football, with Braylon, Ray, and Yoder just throwing wild conspiracies and accusations up in YouTube rants in front of a cheap green screen?
September 6th, 2019 at 2:56 PM ^
Don't give Yoder any ideas...
September 6th, 2019 at 1:24 PM ^
I feel like he says things that a lot of fans say, including right here on this board. Regardless of what anyone might think about those anonymous commenters, the opinions are not crazy.
Braylon just has no appreciation for his position as a prominent alumnus of the team. Or he just doesn't care, which is probably more accurate.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:28 PM ^
Love this about Michigan... instead of focusing on the issues, and the solution, M likes to focus on the "optics" of every situation.
I'll disagree, because I can... Shea and Ruiz are lackluster at best. (bring it on slappies)
September 6th, 2019 at 1:37 PM ^
Hi Braylon. Is your username an homage to the consequences of your alcoholism?
September 6th, 2019 at 1:41 PM ^
C'mon think harder, YOU CAN DO IIIIIIT!
September 6th, 2019 at 2:19 PM ^
If you really are Braylon I'm pretty sure the thing that really bothers you about Michigan (University, fans, football program) is that it doesn't need you anymore but you need it to help you stay relevant/sell books/whatever. You don't really care about the solution or the problems you just care about being irrelevant because you've made an ass of yourself too many times and now everyone has moved on from you to the new generation so now you need to tear them down.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:37 PM ^
I can see that take for Shea, I also think he hasnt played to full potential yet. But please grace us your take on Cesar...
September 6th, 2019 at 1:47 PM ^
Here, let me impose my solution on Shea Patterson and Cesar Ruiz. It's easy to fix their shortcomings while sitting at my computer...
September 6th, 2019 at 1:53 PM ^
Now you take a very esoteric perspective of the conversation roflmao...you folks are funny.
Using your toilet paper logic, we should just shut down the forum because nothing will be resolved here. It can only be resolved by the coaches on the field.
Try again...
September 6th, 2019 at 1:50 PM ^
And who pray tell should be playing center then? Y'know, since you have all the answers.
September 6th, 2019 at 1:51 PM ^
Stephen Spanellis!
Oh, wait, he's hurt...
Uhh...
Jess Speight!
Oh, wait, he moved to defense...
Uhh...

Never said we had the 'horses in the stable' McFly... just said that Shae and Ruiz are "lackluster at best". Then all of the fanboy slappies came out. Making this way too easy for me son...
September 6th, 2019 at 5:52 PM ^
When someone spells Shea as “Shae”, it’s a dead giveaway as to what kind of fan you’re dealing with.
September 6th, 2019 at 8:54 PM ^
