It has to be more disciplined than the last game?

YOU KNOW IT.
FEAR THE RAINBOW.

Regarding FL :
I live down in SW FL and I don’t know how any Gator fan can say they get confidence in having Mullen as their coach.
I get that it’s the first game, and in college it’s all about win and move on... BUT just watching him in interviews and that play call on their last real possession to throw the ball after all those turnovers, to me, are just signs of pour game management and at what stage your team is at in development. You have to understand the situation and play to pin Miami deep and make them go the length of the field.
Cant wait for next Sat! Go Blue!
August 24th, 2019 at 10:59 PM ^
Mullen is a bone head, it took two PI's on 4th down for Miami to drive the field. Punt pin them deep and they would have never drove the field.

pour game management
August 25th, 2019 at 11:57 AM ^
Actually, that is exactly how I manage shit games like this one.

Nice gif, took me a minute to pour through your message to get it
August 24th, 2019 at 10:55 PM ^
I couldn’t tell if FL is really that bad .... or Miami looks much better than people thought.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:00 PM ^
They both looked horrible.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:00 PM ^
Florida looked like the more talented but more undisciplined team. The Miami line had no answer for the Florida pass rush. The best play against the Florida secondary is the underthrown ball.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:01 PM ^
Football with garbage OLs looks bad.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
FL is that bad. Miami gifted FL that game with untimely penalties all game long.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:45 PM ^
What happened to Florida then? Cause know all too well they weren’t that bad last season.
Did they lose a ton of guys or something?
August 25th, 2019 at 1:16 AM ^
It looks to me like Franks isn't taking the next step in his development and Florida's O-Line is pretty suspect. Also both UF and the refs gifted Miami a few key penalties on scoring drives. The 2 fumbles in the first half in plus field position were important too. Florida could have built themselves a lead if not for those.
Their D-Line looks super strong but Miami's O-Line reminded me a lot of when Michigan's line played Notre Dame last year. They just weren't ready.

I got Hawaii +11 and over 74
Having college fb back is Paradise
August 24th, 2019 at 11:23 PM ^
I too have the +11 and am now kicking myself for not locking in Hawaii on the money line.

So RR got fired, is he coaching this year?
August 24th, 2019 at 11:10 PM ^
He is OC at Ole Miss I believe.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:16 PM ^
He IS? Crap sakes that football old boy network is untouchable.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
Has he ever coached?
August 24th, 2019 at 11:06 PM ^
10 people at the game.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:08 PM ^
Not to be rude, but this looks like the JV game, or JV telecast, anyway.
Only the parents are in attendance.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:10 PM ^
So Arizona is hot garbage!
August 24th, 2019 at 11:11 PM ^
It’s college football so yes I’m watching!
August 24th, 2019 at 11:15 PM ^
I am, but not so much.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:16 PM ^
Remember when Kevin Sumlin was a big name in college football?
August 24th, 2019 at 11:21 PM ^
University of Arizona, where head coaching careers go to die. Sounds an awful lot like the liedowns head coaching gig.
August 25th, 2019 at 8:34 AM ^
Rich Rod's career there died because he acted like a prick and apparently cheated on his wife, along other Title IX violations. (I'm not the biggest fan of all of the aspects of Title IX, but in this case I'll give it its due). Had he not done that, he probably would have been a high-side-of-mediocre coach like he was in his first few seasons there, and the Wildcats would have been fine with that.
August 25th, 2019 at 10:08 AM ^
Well, I can't speak for their AD and boosrers regarding his job security before his disgusting behavior was revealed, but I do know that RR was six games under .500 in conference play during his tenure at UA.
Regardless, the point still stands, that job is a head coaching career killer.
August 25th, 2019 at 11:49 AM ^
Yes but his overall record was above .500 and he had some good signature wins against USC, Oregon, Utah, and a couple of others. Considering it’s Arizona and not a team where National Champions are expected, that’s about ass good as they’ll get .
August 24th, 2019 at 11:22 PM ^
I remember when Michigan almost took him.
But I think Michigan would have done well with him. He was young and a hot name at the time, recruiting well.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:21 PM ^
Against my better/bettor judgement I took the under 45.5 and still cannot believe that nobody scored in the last 10 minutes to cover. Feels like found money...
August 24th, 2019 at 11:36 PM ^
To your credit you probably didn't know they messed with the tackling slider.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:35 PM ^
Arizona refuses to play defense.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
Hawaii defense:
Hold my beer.
August 25th, 2019 at 12:42 AM ^
It's not that they refuse...they just lack the ability.
August 24th, 2019 at 11:53 PM ^
McDonald is getting his Steve DeBerg on

CBS...Sports Network.
August 25th, 2019 at 1:14 AM ^
Hawaii would be winning big...but they keep turning the ball over.
August 25th, 2019 at 1:25 AM ^
But Hawaii has the other without the one. I cannot abide this transgression.

Holy shit that was a fun game to watch. I might be staying up late for more Hawaii games this year.
August 25th, 2019 at 5:38 AM ^
Phenomenal ending as Tate gets tackled on the 1 after a long QB scramble.
August 25th, 2019 at 11:14 AM ^
It was a huge win for the’Bows.
August 25th, 2019 at 12:05 PM ^
Instant Classic - lol I watched the entire game and was getting tired I think it was 230AM. I thought for sure Tate was going to score there and I would have been up past 3AM
