not sure if they will head back as a team. Some players will be heading to their minor league teams ASAP, others to their summer league teams in AK or MA
That's the unfortunate part about a lot of the spring sports seasons. Once they've played their last game, the seniors are moving out the next day to play professionally or to find a job.
I think we need to make baseball recruiting, etc. an MGoBlog mainstay after this run. Sure doesn't seem like one-and-done to me.
Was just going to comment that we need some preview/predictions for next season. Seems like we are losing a lot, we bring in the 39th ranked recruiting class. Our best player in that class got drafted in the 3rd rd this year and is going to the Athletics farm system. Another guy got drafted in the 30th Rd. Then is Joey Velasquez expected to be an instant impact guy?
Formerly Anonymous used to do a nice job with baseball back in the day. I haven't seen him post in a very long time.
I think him and TomVH moved on very close to the same time.
Per a U-M official there will be announcement made on twitter sometime soon on what time the team will be returning home. He said around 4pm but that was late last night so things could change.
WD--
Can you give us a snapshot of who Coach Bakich has coming in as recruits?
Thanks for all your hard work!
Found this site the other day...
Thank You!
I'll probably just tweet at all the players congratulating them instead
4pm per @UMichBaseball. I'll be there OP
Tell us about their arrival. Thanks WD.
don't know the answer to this question. But is anyone else really, really really excited to take it to PSU? I found the James Franklin rooting against his conference to be upsetting. Would he have done that if Vandy was playing any other Big 10 school? I love Vandy, think they are a great school. It's great that James still has a positive feeling toward his former university. Found the open cheering against Michigan distasteful. Can't wait to play them!!!
I saw that bald-pated ninny there and also was wanting blood revenge on the gridiron.
The worst part is that ESPN pointed it out a few times, as if this was just another cool thing James Franklin was doing. It was a troll move and it isn't the first time he's been a troll in some manner, so ESPN definitely off in their interpretation.
Bakich knows. Assuming he hasn't been fired.
Just saw a charter bus with the sign set to University of Michigan Baseball driving up Earhart north of Geddes, so, I'd imagine, soon.
