Toughest games left
What is your order of the hardest games left on the schedule knowing what we know now. Mine-
1. At osu
2. At msu
3. PSU
4. Wisconsin
5. Nebraska ( w Martinez )
6. At Northwestern
7. Indiana
8. Maryland
9. Rutgers
msu is probably the 4th best team Michigan plays the rest of the way but until this team beats a ranked team on the road they are my #2.
It's a little scary to think Michigan has a potential of 4 losses left on their schedule without a slip up but I have a lot of confidence in Harbaugh , D. Brown, Patterson, and the rest of the team.
My pre season prediction was 10-2 with a loss to ND and msu, BT champs and an overall record of 13-3. For now I'm sticking with it . Go BLUE!

Thanks, I don't think I could've come up with that myself.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Your account is a day old, and you're already being snarky. I smell a TROLL
September 18th, 2018 at 1:54 PM ^
Its rider not ryder
September 17th, 2018 at 9:57 PM ^
Eh, I think Wisconsin is still gonna be pretty tough. In fact, I would still put them right after OSU. Too much recency bias in college football.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:14 PM ^
Nah, Wisconsin will comfortably play down to our slow tempo.
PSU's QB runs will be very difficult to contain. Already has 6 rushing TDs.
2. PSU
3. MSU
4. Wisconsin
September 17th, 2018 at 11:02 PM ^
Yeah, no. PSU is getting their dicks knocked in the dirt.
OSU is the only game I'm really worried about.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:16 PM ^
Where you and this optimism Saturday night when this board was having an existential crisis over a 20 point win?
September 18th, 2018 at 7:17 AM ^
Then you're setting yourself up for some disappointing Saturdays coming up.
September 18th, 2018 at 9:32 AM ^
Eh, we play Penn State third in that series. At least there is a week off after MSU to heal owies and boo boos, but I think keeping up with Penn State's offensive production will be difficult. Weather could be a big factor in any of those games too.
Most likely loss is probably Staee because it is away, but hardest to beat is probably Penn State because out offense will have to produce.
September 18th, 2018 at 9:00 AM ^
Don't know why the down vote when you are correct.
September 17th, 2018 at 9:57 PM ^
Mine-
1. at OSU
2. PSU
3. Wisconsin
4. at MSU
5. Indiana (you’ll see why soon)
6. Nebraska
7. at NW
8. Maryland
9. Rutgers
September 17th, 2018 at 10:00 PM ^
RE: Indiana, I’ll be watching their game this weekend against Sparty closely.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:51 PM ^
I agree with this version. I'm not ready to write off Wisconsin just yet
September 17th, 2018 at 11:30 PM ^
I think this is mine too. Might flip Indiana with MSU, just because Indiana hasn’t looked good recently and still took us to OT twice in the Harbaugh era (and this year they actually look decent).
September 17th, 2018 at 10:00 PM ^
It doesn't matter...no team ever views a season this way. You only win and lose them 1 game at a time.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:09 PM ^
In order...
OSU, OSU game officials, Zach Smith's Twitter, PSU, IU, MSU, MSU Board of Trustees, Wisconsin, NU, MD, TV timeouts, Nebraska, Scott Frost's mom, Jim Delany, ..., ..., Rutgers.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:52 PM ^
How is Jim Delany not #1? He is the common thread in all douchebaggery
September 17th, 2018 at 10:20 PM ^
1) OSU - because obviously. Whole team has to play it’s best game for us to even have a shot. But if Shea keeps progressing, he may prove to finally be the missing piece that we’ve needed in this game.
2) MSU - whatever you think about MSU as they currently are right now, understand that they will not be the same team when we play them. They will make the tackles they don’t normally make, catch the balls they normally drop, and block the defenders they normally whiff on. Get ready for a street fight.
3) PSU - thankfully at home, Barkley is gone, but McSorely is for real. Shea can do some work on their defense, and this may turn into a shootout if the offense can progress over the next month. Banking on Franklin making some bonehead in game decisions.
4) UW - not as good as we all thought they were, but still a tough opponent with a great defense. I expect a low scoring game.
Then comes the huge drop off........
5-8 are all somewhat interchangeable, and then 9 is Rutgers. Who I fully expect to get bludgeoned to death again this season. IU is probably 5 because somehow those games are always close, but Nebraska could be 5 if Martinez can play.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:24 PM ^
Even better, to cement the pick at #9, Rutgers is an underdog at home to Buffalo.
At home.
Against Buffalo.
*chuckles*
September 17th, 2018 at 10:59 PM ^
Buffalo is actually a pretty solid team. They have two NFL prospects in Anthony Johnson whom some considered to be the best WR prospect of the draft and Tyree Jackson who may rise up to 1st round pick as a QB prospect. Tyree Jackson is 6'7" and 245 lbs and apparently runs 4.5-4.6 which is ridiculous for a guy in his size.
Buffalo probably would hang at least 35 on Rutgers.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:09 PM ^
Buffalo would definitely beat the Bills.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:10 PM ^

Buffalo would definitely beat the Bills.
September 18th, 2018 at 8:10 PM ^
Too bad you didn't say this a 4th time in a row for Buffalo
September 18th, 2018 at 7:18 AM ^
Tyree Jackson from, I believe, Muskegon Mona Shores! He is a dude!
September 18th, 2018 at 3:58 PM ^
Yup, he went to Mona Shores. He grew 5 inches in college and was underrecruited due to size. He chose Buffalo over EMU. Tyree Jackson is a legit NFL prospect. He has strong arm, good size and can run. He's a bit rough around the edge as a QB but potential is huge for Jackson.
September 18th, 2018 at 12:10 PM ^
Don't sleep on Buffalo. They're sneaky good! Beat EMU, who won at Purdue.
I'm only semi joking. Still sad they're road favorites v. Rutgers.
September 18th, 2018 at 9:43 AM ^
Ohio State, Ohio State, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:29 PM ^
We're not losing to MSU. Hell, I think there's a good chance that we beat Wiscy and PSU too but that last game is probably an ugly L. They're too good at the very things that we struggle with (pass rush and a ridiculously accurate QB). I liked our chances every year when Barret was there but it's a far better offense now with their current heisman candidate QB. Chances are we go into Columbus at 9-2.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:39 PM ^

# 1: vs Bama in Santa Clara
*drops mic ........ and ducks!
September 17th, 2018 at 10:35 PM ^
There's a real chance MSU isn't ranked when Michigan plays them. They've got to go to Indiana and PSU coming up, two undefeated teams with decent defenses, plus play Northwestern, which could be semi-competent.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:57 PM ^
As I've stated before, only MSU would be bad just so we can't get a ranked win on the road.
Seriously though, the schedule makers finally hooked us up by making MSU play a traditional power the week before they play us. It feels like that rarely happens.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:37 PM ^
How do we finish 13-3? We can't play more than 15 games, right? Just making sure that I'm not going crazy.
September 17th, 2018 at 10:51 PM ^
12 regular season games, big ten championship, playoff, national championship, world championship
September 17th, 2018 at 11:22 PM ^
There's no way in hell we make it to the world championship game with 2-3 losses.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:59 PM ^
Yes...
... but only because we aren't from the SEC.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:25 PM ^
No shot at that interstellar title?
September 17th, 2018 at 11:43 PM ^
The problem with the interstellar title is logistics. It takes us 4 years to simply find out who the ACCAA (Alpha Centauri Collegiate Athletic Association) Champion is.
After 4 years, the NCAA Champion has already used up all their eligibility.
September 18th, 2018 at 7:30 AM ^
Getting screwed over by Relativity sucks.
September 18th, 2018 at 8:50 AM ^
I meant 12-3 , my bad. Thanks
September 17th, 2018 at 11:00 PM ^
I would put Indiana above Nebraska. If we do t handle them easily I will start to worry
September 17th, 2018 at 11:03 PM ^
Brilliant
September 17th, 2018 at 11:08 PM ^
The next one
September 17th, 2018 at 11:42 PM ^
F losing to MSU. We're rolling the rest of the B1G. B1G champs 2018.
September 17th, 2018 at 11:50 PM ^
Penn state will be much tougher than MSU even if one is at home and one is on the road. I think Harbaugh gets over that D'antoni hump this year. As long as rain isn't on the forecast drevno doesn't come back to partake in play calling and coaching the o line, Michigan should win comfortably. Plus PSU is a true spread team which Michigan struggles with and Sparty is a feaux spread team and not nearly as explosive
September 18th, 2018 at 7:09 AM ^
The rain excuse is so stupid.
It was 14-3 when there was no rain.
