Free beer in Cleveland this season?
Eight-foot "vidtory" fridges with magnetic locks, each containing 200-300 aluminum bottles of Bud Light, will be placed in 10 Cleveland bars. When (If) the Browns win their first game, the locks will be released by wifi, supplying free beer. I can't think of any way that could go wrong. What's the over/under on how many people are trampled? It will be like The Who in Cincinnati (I expect half of you don't know what that means).

Sorry. I meant to add "OT."
Oh, and "Victory."

Lets go, Peppers, do your thing.

At a concert in Cincinnati, the crowd was so rowdy outside the doors before they opened up that a few people were crushed to death rushing towards the door.
What do I win?

A schrute buck for you since you saved me from having to google what happened in Cincinnati.

Just our luck. We get victory fridges with beer nobody will want to drink.
August 14th, 2018 at 2:17 PM ^
Don't worry, those fridges will be stolen, emptied of their contents, and used as "buckeye coolers" before the browns even dream of winning a game this season.

That's exactly what I told my co-workers! What have you actually won in that case?
August 14th, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
Really? Bud Light, in an aluminum bottle? Sounds delicious.
When did people start not liking Bud Light, and why do they sell so much of it if nobody likes it?

Nothing wrong with aligning incentives with the team and people.

Can we retroactively get some for the Lions doing it first?

Bud Light is some of the worst beer I have ever had.

Bud Light is the worst you have ever had? Clearly, you didn't go to U-M in the 80's, and buy 30 packs of "The Beast". That beer literally had a stench...

I said "some of."
I cannot tell you the worst beer I have ever had. There are too many that I have had that I considered horrendous. Milwaukee's Best is certainly in the running. I'd rather have Bud Light than that, but Bud Light is still horrific beer. I am amazed that terrible beer is still one of the most sold in this country. I'm a craft beer snob.

Found the old curmudgeon. "BAck in my day, we had The Who!"

Surprised I had to scroll this far down to see this. I imagine that Budweiser is counting on this piece of infamy to add to their marketing.

I thought you said they were giving out beer...?

I can't wait to see these same fridges - unopened and still in working condition even - on sale at Sotheby's a decade or so from now when the Browns go 0-16 again.

You make the call.
