Devin Booker visited on Friday
Top 2014 shooting guard prospect Devin Booker visited campus Friday and Umhoops has a nice interview.
let's keep those top 100 PG coming in. I would love to not worry year after year if these guys are 1 or 2 and done.
this past offseason where people said Staukus could play PG. I am just jumping the gun if Trey leaves after his Sophmore season. No I really just read the article wrong, thanks for correcting me. Kid still is a player I would love to add at the 2 spot then.
I think Burke (when he came out of HS) was clearly the better shooter and overall scorer compared with Walton, but Derrick has superb ball handling capabilities and is extremely explosive off the dribble. He has been lauded as a pure point guard, while Burke remains somewhat of a score-first PG. This should be good since we will have a ton of offensive talent to surround Walton these next few years.
Two words...Drake Harris.
That was his 4th visit, which is more than any other college I believe. And that is despite the fact that he lived in Mississippi for the entire year.
But yeah, considering we don't have one commit, I think it's a premature statement. With Booker and Bates-Diop, we would still have significant work to do to catch the '12 class.
And Davon is a State fan, so it'd be nice to tease him if Devin went to Michigan.
Devin would've been the best player at Grandville if he stayed. Though that's not much to brag about now-a-days.
I'm friends with him as well. And yeah the talent level there just isn't as high as it used to be. I don't think a regime change will change much.
“It was actually with the whole staff,” Booker said. “Coach Beilein, Bacari, LaVall, all of them. We went out to eat at Noodles and Company.”
Well isn't that nice...
