My thoughts exactly. You have an embarrassment of riches at QB and the skill positions and you go lizard brain and call 12 runs in a row at one point including a 2nd and goal from the 12? Come on now! I thought this year was different after we had seen a 50/50 run/pass split so far this year and the sky was the limit.
This definitely dialed back my expectations. Looking like our ceiling will still be the playoffs if we continue to have gameplans similar to this in the biggest games of the year. This same type of stubbornness stymied us last year vs TCU. Didn’t run JJ or go to the passing game until it was too late. If PSU hits one big play in the second half, this is a totally different outcome. I pray the playcalling was an aberration of what we see the rest of the year.
8 throws from JJ in the first half? Is this Freshman or Junior year JJ? Looks like all we ever have is a ball control safe gameplan in every big game. Use your biggest weapon and open it up before it’s too late. Why do you think we continue to get stomped in the playoffs?
Just imagine how great the NBA will be when it's 60% white dudes and 15% black with the other 25% being a mix of all other races (in the name of equity). Can use that term to argue multiple sides of any comparison in the name of "fairness."

The way the deaths are being counted is suspect as we continue to count people dying "with" Covid as opposed to "from" Covid. I'm betting the way the cause of death due to Covid is being interpreted in these other countries you've mentioned is far different than in the USA. Follow the money......
Too hard on them as far as practice goes, for sure. I personally know a current player on the team (who may or may not be back for a 5th year) who says they are always out of gas and beat up by the time the OSU game comes around due to the physicality of practice throughout the year.

I completely agree with this assessment of what most likely occurred. I'm an Airbus pilot for United Airlines. I cannot believe that the University of Michigan would even be using a charter company of that reputation.

Depends on if we play aggressively on the defense end or not. If we continue to play soft defense because our guys are so scared to foul because they know Beilein will bench them, then we are in trouble. There is a reason we have the fewest fouls of any team in the country and it's not result of playing good defense.
