Shane Morris in AA this weekend!
Some recruiting news would ease the sting of yesterday...but our best recruiter is in Ann Arbor today!

Where was this comment suppose to go? I don't want to hear of any recruit getting any MIP
It really didn't make any sense in this context. First comment as soon as I woke up, so I blame it on that.
The worry about him drinking is that he'd get a minor in possession ticket, is it not? I'm saying that even if he did get one, it wouldn't be a dealbreaker. Michael Floyd had 2 and then a DUI and was still allowed to play. That's at ND. I'm saying that while I don't want him to get a MIP, it isn't the worst thing in the world if he did. It's an 18 year old adult drinking alcohol, what's wrong with that?
There is nothing wrong with an 18 year old drinking. But based on my college experience, MIP's are usually only handed when you do something stupid to warrant attention.
Seconded. The only times I've seen people get MIPs in Ann Arbor is when:
- They're beligerent
- They're unrinating in public
- They're to the point where they can barely walk.
- They tell a cop they've been drinking.
It's completely different in East Lansing and many other college towns though.
I got one freshmen year in my dorm room, minding our own business. Some dumbass happened to step into the hall with a beer while DPS walked by. The cop they brought out to write out the ticket was cool about it though, basically said he wouldn't be writing the ticket but the DPS guy was filing a report so he had to. I actually saw him cringe as he watched me pour most of a 1/4 barrel down the shower drain.
Generally, I respect the cops in AA more than elsewhere, but they can hand out dumb MIPs where they go out of their way to give one. Has been happening more on gamedays these days, but there are bs MIPs handed out everywhere.

A little bit of alcohol never hurt Anyone.
I'm gonna go ahead and say you're wrong on that one
EDIT: Replied to the wrong comment. Point stands
comment in that first place. That's what I get for commenting as soon as I wake up.
But the only way a little bit of alcohol ever hurt anyone is if they were allergic.
Why is "Anyone" capitalized?

He was at the hockey game last night as well. He participated in one of their games, and I also realized that he was sitting not too far in front of me when he returned afterward with the stuff he had won.

He's probably there to try to bring on board Orndoff. Kid has very good hands, along with good speed and elusiveness for a TE.

I'm sure Sugar Shane wouldn't mind a load-bearing RB like Smith on board.

the team won a B1G championship this year. That's what will last
It was an amazing season, loved every minute. Can't wait for next year.
Shane continues to show his willing to put in the work, even before enrolling.

that if he takes a stroll around campus (or off-campus, I should say) today, Shane gets offered more drinks than any other guy and more than few girls.
Hopefully he doesn't take any though...

Regarding infractions, does unlimited access on campus shift into the grey-zone of recruiting standards/violations?
Well,,, does it?
"shit kids try to get away with" with "violations by the school"

I think it's actually more unrepresentative to bring them on a sunny 80-degree day.

As you said, they know its not representative of a typical weekend. and not everyone on campus is drinking and getting drunk. they will be fine and they know where to go.

on a college campus sure as hell can't beat St. Patty's day in Nassau, Bahamas though.
false. You apparnetly have never been to Ft. Lauderdale on St. Patties. I have never seen so many boobs in my life.
two then?
Actually it was three. It's kinda a funny story.....
Spring Break on the Mars colony?
Close, but think more background cosmic radiation, less space-tourists (no Richard Branson thank god), and much more chilling out by the mare.
You saw the chick from Total Recall?

It's the first day of spring practice. I suspect the coaches won't have time to meander around campus, and the recruits will probably be observing how the coaches run things, not showing them Goodtime Charly's.

Just walked by the practice facilities and saw the team practicing. Made me very happy after last night.

coming out of the east side of the stadium this morning. One of the kids definitely had the build of a RB or safety.

I think the guy I saw was Smith. But Green looks like he's about 27.
Unless something has changed in the past 24 hours, Derrick Green's visit is scheduled for tomorrow.

I think he's there every weekend!
Shane Morris is Glengarry Ross
