NFL Draft Discussion-1st round
Where does JJ go? Any other Michigan guys in first round. I’m not from Michigan but I will throw in the question of who do the Lions go after? If I’m the Bears I’m drafting JJ and then Odunze. I just think he will be better than MHJ. Thoughts overall?
I think Daniels is talented and never he'll pull a Stroud but the next Brian Kelly QB who plays well in the NFL will be the first and I worry he's a guy who will run into injuries with his play style
Playing style is what worries me about Daniels. But he did what he did on the field in the SEC, where it just means more. And its a better league top to bottom than the PAC was, where Williams played. If you can keep Daniels from going outside the tackles too often, he should be okay.
Daniels is a smaller, less talented, version of Lamar Jackson. Someone had a great quote about him. I'm in the DC area and many feel this is rg3 2.0
I thought the Titans just fired Vrabel? And here they are taking a Vrabel type player!
That is exactly what I was thinking.
I can't remember how Latham looked against Michigan.
Josaiah Stewart does.
Irrelevant... He looked irrelevant. The Bama DE's were the bigger threat.
Feel like he was on his ass half the game
Damn. Thought the Giants would be perfect for JJ.
Penix going before the guy who beat him would be crazy.
That's a pretty simplistic take. And makes no sense.
Also LOL at Atlanta doing nothing to help the qb they just signed at over $40 million a year.
Falcons likely take Dallas Turner, but I still want them to take JJ and jettison Cousins
Holy shit. Did not see that coming.
And you called the Giants dysfunctional!
WOW! Premature pick.
Falcons reach for...Penix???
Wow. I did not see that one coming.
Be glad you didn’t see Penix coming.
This is ridiculous at this point, wow.
Wooooow
Wow! Not only does Atlanta take a QB, but its Penix!
So crazy. I was pulling for them to take JJ, but didn't really expect they would take a QB. Now to see them take a QB and it is Penix. I am completely shocked.
And this is why the Falcons are perpetually a middling team.
Penix to ATL seems....unexpected.
Seriously??? LMAO!!! At #6, Penix will not be worth it, he loses his mind under pressure! Whatever, Falcons, whatever...
They could have gotten him in the 20s.
Did not see that coming. Is Cousins' rehab not progressing?
Cousins is 36 and fragile, but I’m still surprised by that pick.
These teams didn’t learn from Ohio State passing on JJ. This is great. JJ will make them all pay.
What the fuck is wrong with these NFL teams? Did they not watch Michigan eat Penix alive?
Seriously Michigan exposed him somewhat. But NFL scouts may be thinking Michigans D would have made anyone look bad.
And yet half of Michigan's defense - as good as they were - will not play in the NFL. So WTH are scouts looking at? Has to be the deep ball touch when there's no rush, right?

I don’t know.
Grant, Grahem, Stewart, D Moore, McGregor, probably Harrel, Colson, probably Barrett. Johnson, R Moore, Mikey, probably Paige.
He looked really good against Texas, though.
But yeah, it's a surprising pick.
The highlights missed that. Maybe Atl did too.

Michigan ate EVERYONE alive. Seriously, what do people expect from a QB going up against an all-time defense?
Atlanta invoking the ghost of Chris Chandler by drafting another quarterback made of glass.
Enjoy your broken Penix.
Wow. What a throwback 😂

Crazy how all the QB's went in the top ten, and good for a lot of teams picking late.
Falcons with an absolutely insane pick, but hey the paid a guy coming off an ACL $100M to be a mid QB so maybe it's their jam. Might as well pay another guy big rookie money who struggles when you get him off platform.
He is not "coming off an ACL" injury that happened in 2020.
Wow, massive reach by ATL there
I think they should show Josiah Stewart dish ragging JC Lathem to win the Rose Bowl for his highlights.
Atlanta with the first mistake of the draft.
totally inexplicable.
malpractice.
The Falcons’ front office is incompetent.
Arthur Blank still on some shit.
That goooood shit. The kind that scrambles your brain, and you pass out only to wake up the next day with the realization that you drafted a QB who's already so broken he's basically held together by duct tape.
As a falcons fan, I'm dumbstruck by this pick. I thought Bijan last year was not a bad pick, but this boggles the mind.
